i meant code 1263 evap purge valve has always been there dont think i even have one the pluge is blanked of has any one herd of the ignitors in the dme dieing do ignitors do that when thay on there way out

yer no water down there just had them and scans clean no codes just evac that alway been there

hi guy and techs i have Googled the crap out of this and found no solution so time to ask the pros have an e36 325 was running great then one day it started dropping of cylinders one buy one got to the point any throttle gust starts pooping but still idles all good when its cold it runs great the temp cams up and it starts to miss the more i drive the worse it gets but the temp stay good i have changed all sensors maf 02 coil plugs any ideas

hi if any one has any bolt for a manual conversion im keen to buy also need a xmember i brought a conversion missing a few things so need flywheel bolts bell housing bolts pressure plat bolts xmember have a working 5speed auto coming out if any one wants it

1 thing to think of first if your going to slam it is to install the rear sub frame reinforcement kit none progressive coils have a tendency of ripping the sub frame mounts out of the floor very messy wish i was warned of this in the end got the ass of mine slamed on comy irs dobi supper low also spacing the rear subframe slams it some more but camber gets bad and diff gets kinda low havent got the front as low tho

looks like IAT sensor is blanked as well intake doesn't even have a hole were it goes

thanks heaps for that mate found a broken vacuum hose under the intake now it idles smooth and a goes allot better I owe u 1

i no this is an old post but thought u may like this 1 put to rest i bought the car got it for $2700 it is 2.8 stork is 84mm block is m50 Hartge made 2.0l 2.4l and 2.8l from the m50 that maybe y it was registered as 2.5. looks like thay just stroked them so engine numbers come back to the cc that thay were born with Hartge put 2.8s in 320s ass well according may research It has a factory lsd 5 speed auto full hartge exhaust hartge springs and the rev limit is a little higher than normal i believe it is genuine but that's just me oh and it idles like a mild bridge port don't no if its meant to thou power is intermittent somedays power is good other day feels like my old vr comy sh*t think im just geting use to it

ok i said yep 2.5 because i found some numbers on the engine that said 25 in the same place my bros 528 says 28 but measured the stoke today and it is 84mm so she 2.8 hartge must of just stoked them im stoked sc14 here i come

OK i have been confusing many mechanics with this one my car has a hartage exhaust system engine to tip looks factory but probably not it has no 02 sensor and no hole to put 1 in there is a plug next to the tranz but it has what looks like a factory cap/cover over it like it has never been used now there seems 2 be a listing for a sensor but even on a scan tool there has never been any fault codes to say oxy sensor fault so maybe it dose not have it on this model the scan tool can test the relay and u can here it click but no fault comes back engine light has never come on i have never seen any fuel smoke but it dose smell rich and it is very hungry on gas the plug has 4 wires and the parts place i deal with says it has a 3 wire o2 listed does it need 1 or not any help would be great soon as u say bmw up north u get told to try somewhere els chers

hay i just scored a e36 325 coupe engine says hartge 2.8 and it has full hartge exhaust rear badge momo millennium witch all hartge in the uk seam to have the car is nz new has all this stuff been installed by some one here or did it come like this are there any markings on the engine to identify if it is hartge or if it is even a 2.8 could just be m50 with hartage engine cover i gess but studying bmw forums in the uk some say thay used m50b25 to buld the hartge 2.8 any way but i dont see y any one no the truth behind this
