  2. just clean sheeted a WOF today!
  3. Hi All Have decided I am going to sell my E38 in February 2012, I dont need a second car but I do need a boat! Reason for selling in Feb is we are taking it to Wellington for the Sevens so I dont want to let it go before then. After doing a few trips in this thing I couldn't think of a better car to travel a couple of thousand kms in. Anyway the details are: 1997 BMW 750iL - 121,000 kms (could be anything up to 125k by feb as I am still driving it) - Will have new WOF and Reg next month - 19" M6 Alloys (only travelled approx 1500km and still have full set of factory wheels and tires) - Replaced battery with Genuine BMW one. - Factory speakers mostly replaced, subwoofers and the entire rear deck removed (still looks factory on top) and 12" Sub & Amp wired in boot balancing the system really nicely. Exterior - Paint in very good condition, very small dent/scrape on left rear guard lip. Missing one jet on the drivers side headlight washer. Rubber seal thing on bottom exterior of drivers door is missing a few bits, nothing major just me being picky. Interior - Leather could do with some TLC, have done a basic leathercare clean but needs touched up a bit more. Centre console is cracked and a small chip is missing (can possibly source another one of these). Rear headrests do not go up and down on the switch but all other electronics working perfectly except the phone which I tried putting a 2degrees Sim into but it still says check sim. Left rear sunshade on quarter window doesnt retract but all other function including the motorised rear window shade. Mechanical - Currently leaking a small amount of oil from rocker cover gaskets, have just had it looked at by the local BMW mechanic so this will be repaired and a full service done in January before I take it to Wellington. Otherwise everything is doing exactly what it should! Just did a 1000km trip on the weekend, averaged 12.8L/100km on the way up and 12.2L/100km on the way back and never missed a beat. Not sure if I need to list the options being a BMW site I am guessing that most will know the spec level of this car, being the flagship model, but as far as I can tell the only options missing are the heated seats, sports seats and heated steering wheel. Seems to have everything else. OFFERS OVER $10,000, WILL NEGOTIATE AROUND WHEELS IF REQUIRED
  4. Hey everyone, thought I better actually register and make myself know after browsing this site a bit. This is only the second BMW I have owned, for a brief (3 months) period I had an E46 '03 318 but it wasnt my style. So far the 750 is relatively untouched, I purchased the new wheels before I even picked up the car so they went on immediately to replace the stock ones, I have removed the rear deck & factory subwoofers and installed a single 12" sub and amp in the boot instead (which took some researching thanks to the DSP). Next mod is to completely remove the rear mufflers and replace with stainless pipe, keeping the downpipes. Not sure what this will sound like to how it may affect economy/performance so will be keeping mufflers in one piece so they can be put back in if I am not happy with it. Have not lowered the car and dont intend to unless the factory suspension fails at some stage then I may look at aftermarket replacements. Anyway, just wanted to say gidday, so there it is lol
