Hi there, I HAVE NOT GOT THIS CAR YET

My friend has a BMW e30 318 1990, there is something wrong with the gearbox and has been parked up for 4 years outside, i have deemed it scrap metal and no point getting it fixed.

If i brought this car for $300 would i be able to make money of selling the parts and scrap metaling it.

I DO NOT HAVE THE CAR YET BUT IF I GET IT I WILL POST PARTS ON HERE

Just got a new wof and reg for it

Regularly serviced

Rust free

4 good tyres

All in goodknick and nothing wrong with it

What would it be worth ?

The e30 sedan isnt much of a car for camping trips and sleeping in. Ive been looking for a new wagon.

Preferably 2Litre

Dont really mind what model aslong as its a manual

My price range is anywhere around $5000

What are you trying to do?

They have a stock brake booster. Unless you are heavily modifying the engine or racing the car I wouldn't see a need to change it.

if you are having braking problems either get it checked out by a professional or replace pads/rotors and give it a fluid bleed and make sure there is no air in the system.

Im a bit of an ameteur when it comes to brakes. But is it possible to get a brake booster for my car and how much and what one should i buy ?

I have came to the conclusion that my new ride would look so much better lowered. I wanted to check with you guys on the best way to do it ?

I was thinking of buying of here some 2nd hand lowering springs and shocks and installing them.

Or i was thinking of just getting some new springs but would it be possible to install the springs onto the shocks myself ?

Recently a friend of mine stupidly backed into me and his tow bar cracked my bumper. I was wondering if anyone had one i could buy ?

Its the black sorta lip think on the bottom, it looks about 2 inches tall and just screws on.

This has been the biggest night mare of my e30, i have utterly no idea on how to get my head deck out. Ive read up about it on the internet and it has no hexagonal screws on the side that i have found, i removed the 'black trim' that surrounds the head deck and there are 2 lever sort of things that move but seem to not do anything. Could someone please advise me on how to get it out ?

I have dont really want to spend money on brand new gear so i was interested to see if someone had any 2nd hand lower shocks and springs or either or. Would be very interested.

I have just fitted new wheels and have a set of 14 inch bottle caps with tyres in them. Only one tyre is warrantable but have no space for them if you'd like to to have a look I'm in Wellington

Removal:

Two tabs either side - flick them open & find an allen key to loosen, once all four are loosened - the unit will slide out

I cant seem to manage to remove my 1986 e30 head deck. Any advice ?

I have just brought my BMW e30 318 and it is currently on hub caps. I was wondering if anyone had some 2nd hand wheels or wheels and tires for sale, preferably 14 to 15 inch. Am interested in most wheels just anything is better then hubcaps
