Hey all,
The sad news is the 36 has been passed on. Good news is it has gone to another forum member but now I need something to run around in for a few months.
Something along the lines of a e30 318i manual would be ideal. Something mechanically sound that I dont have to worry too much about as it will live outside at my new flat.
Am in Auckland and will have cash by this weekend so keen to get into something ASAP. Budget depends on the car really. $5,000 or so

Time to free up some cash for a holiday and get a car that better suits my short drive to work and new flat.
About 124,000km
NZ new 328i
Auto (ZF trans, not the problematic Jacto as in the imports)
Full motorsport options (body, wheels, suspension, seats, steering wheels, black headliner)
Sunroof
Climate Control aircon
Electric sport seats
Boston Green
Grey interior
Has a load of service history, I wouldn't say FSH but its been my baby and gets very very well cared for. All as it left the factory. I have upgraded the head deck but will swap the original back in when sold. No hurry to sell at all. Would like it to go to a good home but money talks!

haha yes that house is crazy eh, lived around there for ages and we used to talk about it heaps at primary school lol.
That e30 318is is often there, still see it when I go home. And that 325 is there every now and then. Often see a 5-stud e30 there too. M325 with AC wheels. A member im sure

Leather sport seats, electric seats and sunroof, all the kit..
Come down on Sat and check out a few at one tree hill. There will be heaps of e36s!

Be thankful we don't have tram tracks all over the road like in Melbourne. They make for some scary situations on the wet.
I drive my car carefully in the wet. If the auto decides to kick down and out its scary :s

If you cant find a manual one you like look at converting a auto. Not too much work, $1600 or so I think?
Am looking at doing that to mine or selling it and picking up something different.

Yea the pedals are fairly tight on my auto e36 eh, was thinking the same thing over the weekend. Jumped into a manual audi and no issue.
Can't be all Germans, just the BMW drivers

I was wondering what happens re 3rd party if somebody hits me and they have no insurance. I'm with AA so hopefully ok.
I might look to upgrade to full insurance when $$ alows

Cheers, spotted that 318i and will go and have a look if I can. The 5'er is a bit big for what I want and looks like its gone now anyway
