Certainly has been resprayed. the engine bay is still the maroon and some hints of it on the hatch. The door jambs have been painted black however.

Hey guys, selling my daily driven 525 Touring. I bought this car a few months ago in quite a state - many things not working or faulty. I have spent time and money getting things back on track, but unfortunately I need to downsize my 3 car fleet. The good: -> Moderate ks - 225 000 -> Manual with good clutch -> Totally refinished front bumper with projector fog lamps -> Tow bar -> Rides smooth, drives well -> Full and thorough service - filters, plugs, fluids all changed -> New gas struts for hatch and bonnet -> Great sound system - 6x9s in roof, two subs in the back -> Rear seats are mint! -> 17x8.5 AC Schnitzer Wheels -> Electrics are now fully operational The not so good: -> Leaking SLS (self leveling) rear shock - needs power steer system topped up from time to time -> Body has rough patches. Presentable at a distance but some bad cracking in spots up close. Rear bumper is cracked -> Front seats have wear, and some electric features non operational -> Sunroof tilts, but will not retract. -> Passenger side rear window non-op No swaps or trades thanks! I am after $5000 or near offer

Made some good progress, was able to source a bumper with projector spot lights for $70! Ended up buying the gas struts new from FCP Euro - would reccomend.

Morning team I have found that when I am driving my E34 with headlights on, wipers on, and I go to indicate, the wipers pause or stutter until the indicators shut off. Could this be down to a weak old battery not having enough current to power all these things as well as a stereo? Easy enough to replace a battery, although would love to know if it's something else. Cheers

Need some parts for my wagon! Body panels ideally in black but will take what I can get... -> Front bumper ->Rear bumper -> Manual front seats - cloth or leather ->E34 suspension NON SLS, ideally touring rear. -> Hatch lift struts -> Bonnet lift struts And if anyone is clued in with E34 electronics and is keen to have a look over, happy to supply with brew of choice. Standard fun issues like windows etc not working, hatch electric switches not working etc etc! Cheers

Hi Guys, Thought I would introduce myself - My name is Sam, i have a long history of Japanese cars but always wanted an E34, so when I spied a 1993 525 manual touring on Trademe I had to snap it up. A test drive and some haggling and it was mine - in all its rough but functional glory! (photos to come) Will be getting it back to an acceptable standard, starting with giving her a service birthday this weekend. Hope to get involved with the community and get to some meets. Cheers
