  1. What year is it? That's 150 miles, not kms?

1987 - and yes its miles, think its 14x,xxx will double check though. Engine is strong though, as i said it pulls very well and i've just done all the maintanence on it! Maybe it could do with tappets adjusting but all m20's tick! Feel free to call/text me if you want any more info! As i said i'm open to offers....

  2. So i've been off the radar for a while, especially with my S13 build!

Sadly this is something which has been coming for a while as much as i don't like to admit it! I've owned this for a number of years and for the first part it was locked away in undercover storage as i didn't have the time to do anything with it. Since i bought it i took on an S13 Silvia and that has taken alot of priority with a full rebuild, which has taken up most of my time and alot of $$$! I finally got it out of storage and then it sat there for a while and then last month i found some time and cleaned up the engine bay along with putting in new discs and pads on all four corners, put in another alternater, did the cam belt, water pump, tensioner, dist rotor, plugs, belts, oil, oil filter, thermostat, coolent, painted the bonnet vents as they were faded etc. The car runs really well and pulls strong. It has leather recaro's, elec sunroof & windows, very rare rear pull up blind, tints, tech1 kit/wing, tech1 wheel, obc, lsd etc. The suspension was changed by the previous owner (from here) with lower springs, shocks and genuine m3 offset cabs. Thats the good points! The bad is it does need to be re-complied but as its been registered previously in NZ its not an issue. It has some rust in the rear left boot tray and right rear wheel arch which will need to be fixed. The drivers seat bolster isn't perfect and the car has an alarm which drains the battery if you don't drive it. Other than that its a pretty nice and well looked after straight car. Its done around 150,000miles and comes on steel wheels. Feel free to contact me on 02102777666 if interested. I'm ideally looking for 5k, but am willing to talk on price due to it needing re-compliance so feel free to offer me $$$.

    Thanks,

    Kerry.

  3. There was a Kerry Fackney in E30 doing 1.26's at superlap last weekend

Thread dig fail - only just seen this! That was me Eddie - seen you at the Taupo Bimmersport Meet since then! My E30 does 1.25 at Manfield normally.... Did Road & Track last weekend and managed 1.25 with no rear pads and completely shot rear subframe bushings.....

  4. Seen Mark in Hamilton last night while dropping my S13 off to Sinco Customs! Also Saw the white bagged e30 wagon on bbs wheels whilst driving through Hamilton.

And to the above - Brad that will more than likely be my old car white f/l coupe 318i with ca18det - last i saw it had black wheels and also been tinted..... I sold it to a guy up in Palmy

  5. average times were about a second better - I'm doing 1.31s instead of 1.32s. Also did my fastest time ever - a 1.30.03. So close to breaking the 1.30 barrier!

I was in the silver 328 coupe (auto...) number 328

Did you go out in the wet? Rain tyres weren't enough, you needed oil tyres. 3 secs a lap slower than a normal wet track, and totally unpredictable.

You should easily crack the 1.30 mark in the dry then!

Yea i did 5 runs in total - the last one was serious fun, in pouring rain, my window wipers couldn't keep up at 200ish kph down the back straight! I was on semi slicks, great fun! Best run was 1.21.61 for me.

  6. Which e36 were you in Jo? The silver one? I was in the white S13 Silvia yesterday - previously i used my burgundy E30 325i.

What times did you get yesterday? Considering the weather and track condition yesterday (wet/damp) - 1sec quicker than normal is much better!

  7. only the pass seat matters , the little box should go to the twisted yellow wires?? hard to see in the picture .

    thats the passenger seat sensor.

you will also need to reset the air bag light with a scanner tool after you have done it.

First pic is underneath the pass seat, there are 3 plugs, one is the box (blue and white wires), one is the seat elecs, and the other is the x2 yellow/red wires.

The 3rd pic shows the 3 wires i have to attach (ignoring the red power and black earth for the elec seat).
