About Me

Aucklander, just bought (mid-Dec 2012) my first BMW, an E39 530i, NZ New, at 97,000 km.

Keen to do as much maint myself as I can, but I have no mechanical training and little experience. Hoping that between forums and YouTube I'll be able to pick up what I need to understand to do light weight things, short of taking the head off or dropping out the transmission.
