If we only drove what we need, there'd be no cool old school BMW's, or anything else... You probably need it 😄

Be worth getting in touch with Toyota NZ, great PR for the brand!

480k+!!! My younger brother has an '03 Ford XR8 ute just shy of 400k, he's had it since 160k no major work just decent service and maintenance. He's in Brisbane and says NZ vs Aus 'high' km's are poles apart. He had a 600k+ Land Cruizer (petrol) before the XR8, which one of his workers now has and it's still going strong. If proper servicing and maintenance is carried out, I can't see any reason 500 - 600k isn't achievable.
-
Be interested to see how many k's you could get out of one of these. Had a Subaru a few years ago that was still going strong at 400k.
-
Fingers crossed! what are you selling, not that I'm buying.
-
Thanks, you can never have too many cars..... Selling as now living on a boat and more cars than parks and not ready to get rid of the E34.

Now up on reTardme https://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=1760381931
-
It's a tidy example and having only been serviced by BMW specialists it runs as if it has significantly less km's. If I was ready to sell the E34, I'd be keep it. Had a service at BMWorkshop a few weeks ago so good for another 10k.

Its a Racing Dynamics front bar 27mm I think and M5 touring (Nuerburing BMW spelling) rear. The rear is manufactured by Eibach and is 20mm.

No, started life with a slush box. Was convwrted prior me getting it.

Thanks, will quiet down once exhaust is refitted. I've not done a project thread, but had done: Suspension Exhaust LSD Sway bars Lots of minor bits and pieces, bushes, cooling system, cosmetic tidy ups. Then its just been a swap over. I'll do a bit of a write up at some point.

As some of you will know my long time project had a bit off an off a year (ish) ago. Immediate action was to buy teh writ off back from insurance.. best $200 ever spent.. After some thought I bought another E34 540 (NZ new '93 M-Sport, but auto) and have been swapping all the bits over, including swapping teh dove grey interior for my black one carpets and dash included. So I now have pretty much what I started with, but with M=Sport body. After lots of sweat, swearing and beers I finally had a start on the weekend.... Exhaust, wheels and WOF and I'm back in it.. Will add some pics once its out of the shed. First_start.mp4
