Yeah dollar reverse a good idea, so you reckn just sell it whole and not bother parting out? I havn't seen many e30's with a m30b35 in it so in that sense it is quite rare. Just over the car aye not what I want anymore. Parting out would most likely take awhile but if i can't get over 1.2k for it il just part her

it drive fine once your moving just doesn't like sitting still while the motors going

the gearbox is fine once you get out of that low gear

Hey guys just wondering if i should either sale my e30 for a cheap price say 1,000k as the engine overheats when stationary (dont think fan works) the enigne has a slight tick odometre stopped in 2010 and sometimes when its cold the gearbox will stay in its lowest gear until you rev it to around 6.5rpm. Hey, I'm just wondering what differential I'l need for my 320i 88'. My e30 has a m30b35 under the hood. I wanna get a open diff and weld it up for track days, what do you guys suggest i should use? and what housing size would it be small or medium? 3.64 to 4.1 diffs would work well right? just seen my fuel leaking around my fuel tank in my e30! took it done to the mechanics and they said id cost around 300-500 buck to fix, not to mention the rust under my driver seat. gotta get this all done to get a wof so transmission may be delayed sadly. Will post back when i get this sorted

Whats the approx km's on them both? Yeah thats what im after probably gonna get it professionally done as i dont have the tools to get it custom fitted into an e30.

5 speed would be better, do you have the driveshaft bellhousing etc or just the transmission and how much work are you talkingg and lastly how many km's appox, cheers for the qucik replys guys!
