  2. On / off switch on the 4 and and crack along the top of the back on the 5 plus the ear speaker doesn't work

Hey Mate. As Neal says definitely get a quote. I fix quite a few iphones for work and friends mostly the 5. the power button requires the whole phone to be almost stripped down to the frame so you can get to it and same goes for the headphone jack (if thats what you mean by "ear speaker"). the headphone jack and the lightening connector(charging socket) are actually one piece.

This meaning it can be quite costly, if its not your main phone id say do it yourself its not too hard just take your time very fiddly stuff, there are heaps of online videos!!

    just my 2c

  3. Hey Guys

Just wanting some info, I have a M20B20 automatic, Just managed to get my hands on a flywheel/flexplate for the auto and was wondering if there should be washers on the bolts that bolt the ring gear to the motor, it came with the bolts but no washers and i can see washer marks on the flexplate where it has been bolted up. On the BMW Fans site i cant see washers to me it looks like its just the bolts. If i used washers would this affect the balancing and could cause more problems than its worth ?

    Thanks

  4. As title says im looking for a 4HP22 for a M20B20 E30 1990, Kick down cable version NOT sport electronic.

  5. Hey hey any chance you could link to the kits filter/o-ring kits please? I'm dumb and can't find them

Hey there kits are from waderica listing #939127541. You will have to ask him for a kit for these injectors bosh part number 0280150415. These injectors and rocker cover are now on trademe injectors trademe auction # 939991325. And check other listings for the rocker cover . thanks

  6. What else is needed with the injector upgrade? Chip?

Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk

Have a look online lots of information just search for e30 injector upgrade, I think a lot of people upgrade air intake ( bigger AFM or MAF) then either chip or tune-able ECU with the injectors, I was going to use them with a bigger AFM and megasquirt ECU but plans have changed fast for me. megga $$BILLZ$$ =[

  7. What are the cons of getting the 2.3?

I see a few around cheap and i would like to get one to build up the engine out of the car then place it in once finished,

I ask about the 2.3 because i hardly ever see a 2.5 around for sale.??? any out there !!

Would it be a wast of time compared to just getting a 2.5?

I think the 2.5 has more torque and the the 2.3 lacks a bit until about 4k RPM.

Would it be cheaper in the long run just getting the 2.5?

  8. Rocker cover off m20b25 $30 - shipped anywhere in nz

  9. You would be surprised how many people F@#k about with their cars after buying a lead and some software off eBay, manage to cock things up following the YouTube tutorial, and then try and claim it has developed a fault and want it fixed under warranty.

    I love this !!! 100% correct!

The amount of customers that we have who play with settings and then come in to tell us that there "autopilot" etc just stopped working i didn't touch a thing only to go and view it to find out that every setting has been changed !

  10. Just get a jewelry ultrasonic cleaner. They aren't too pricey.

I've got an arduino somewhere in my junk pile that was 75% ready to do flow testing. Gave up because it is much easier to just use a megasquirt I've got lying around

Yea i seen a few on tardme theres a 70W $100 one that looks good!

  11. So its been pretty quite at work and i brought some injectors to get cleaned up,

I was going to send them off and have them re done for about $200 but i thought i could do it cheaper,

    The plan,

Have a injector connected to a pulsing circuit and run a cleaning solution through it under pressure.

So far i have made up the circuit and it works really well about 30ms between each pulse. see photo below

    post-17794-0-55126900-1430970032_thumb.j

Hers the circuit it is just a simple 555 Timer circuit driving a solenoid.

So now all i want to do is be able to run a cleaning solution through the injector while it is pulsing,

Whats your ideas i was thinking a pump of some sort ( fuel ? ) with a adjustable FPR that feeds into the injector so i can test them properly,

Let me know your ideas please !

I also need a injector plug !!!! -- so i can connect it to the circuit with out shorting things together,

And a fuel rail ?!!!! - i really only want to connect one injector at a time tho not 6 any ideas ?

    FPR

    Pump

I know its nothing compared to a proper ultrasonic clean and getting flow tests but its much more fun !!

  12. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=827713557

Just thought id let people know some things if they were going to have a look at it. some of the things might have been fixed.

Was told front shocks need replacing,

    Rust on sun roof,

    brakes weren't the best,

Dash all cracked and trim + seats pretty ratty

Custer battery's need replacing gauges were jumping,

Gears grind a bit usually was just 5th could have been the clutch tho as i replaced the slave and the master might have been going.

it was a awesome car had heaps of work done to the internals of the motor about $4k worth, cam belt had been done recently

would be a cool project id love to have it back :(

  13. haha Probably go as low as $4000 for now have a lot of interest in it at the moment, need to put up pics of the inside today some time, the cons are RH wing mirror is cracked (passed the wof tho) has the usual cracks in dash board, drivers seat is quite ripped has a cover over it at the moment gear stick cover is old and worn, ill be putting pics up around lunch =] open to offers and if you can come pick it up with cash i could go lower,
