  1. Selling three (3 only) bmw X5 wheels. There's two front wheels and one rear. Would make good spares (very expensive and hard to find) or for a trailer or something. Two fronts: 19x8.5" et43 Tyres: 255/50r19 One rear: 19x9.5" et21.5 Tyre: 285/45r19 Overall quite good condition, as per photos. Genuine AC Schnitzer wheels, made in Germany. Location: Eastbourne http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=1107759069&ed=true
  2. pretty cheap to buy the car and then sell everything other than the wheels, or sell it on your wheels.

  4. In talks with MillAnd now. Looks like all they need is the vin, so I'm tempted to just risk it and buy one if I actually lose the key I've got (the car was only bought as a $2k cheap runaround lol). I also tried Beveridges Locksmiths today and they said it would be about $250+gst through their guy, who would come to me and do it on the spot.
  5. I've bought myself an E39 528i, which is my first bmw after owing a couple of e21's years ago. I am told they have a transponder or something and a regular replacement key won't work. Its a Japanese import (if that makes a difference?) and I just have one key, so want to get a replacement in case I lose it. I'm looking for best value, so any tips on where to go would be great. Thanks in advance! Nick
  6. Cleaning out the garage and have some plugs that never ended up getting installed in dad's old bmw before it was sold. Hate to throw away perfectly good (new) parts, so if someone wants to collect them (i'm not going to go to the effort to post these) they can come get them from me in Eastbourne, Lower Hutt. PM for address. NGK part number ZFR5F. From what I understand, they only fit in the one model, E30 shape 318i. Set of four.
  7. I have some parts that need to go to a new home, or will be going to the tip. With such an old car, it seems a waste to throw out things like full set of glass, trim bits, doors/mirors, etc. Please PM me if you're interested in anything. I'm moving overseas and can't store stuff any longer, so hoping that someone is keen for this stuff so its not wasted/lost.
  8. Trademe listing: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=742210621
  9. Been a bit busy lately and slow to reply to this. The shell is now gone to the scrap yard but I still have all the bits and pieces off it including all the glass, the custom parts, etc. Just listed a bunch of stuff on Trademe, with more to come that I'll list in the coming days. Here's a link: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=742197381 For the rest, go to other items for sale.
  10. got some doors. they're not great but you are welcome to have a look. PM me your email address and we'll go from there.
  11. I've had some interest in the running gear but that's it. Any takers on the shell? It'll be going to the scrap yard if nobody wants it, so let me know, even if you're just after some panels for rust repairs or whatever, or doors or glass or whatever. I'll list some stuff on trademe but thought I'd check here first.
  12. Also have spare doors and some other parts like headlight grills/covers. The front and rear windows are still in the shell but the side windows are pulled out at the moment. Location: Lower Hutt. Wellington.
  13. Finally decided to move on from my 340i project, due to moving overseas for work. Also having another project as well has meant this one hasn't had any love in a while. I drove it about five times, maybe 100km all up, since it never made it all the way to cert stage (kept changing things lol). I am looking to sell this as a package of everything, or if there's stuff you'd like for your car then let me know and I might split it up. 79 e21 shell. I started cutting the rear floor out to raise the rear end up, so there's sheetmetal missing. Best this be for someone who wants to either maybe space frame it, or maybe as a parts shell for rust repairs to their car. engine bay has been modified/shaved and room made for a larger radiator. steering column has been shifted over to fit the v8. rear end has been shaved for a custom look (looked rad way back when i did it, at the time) $500 engine: Lexus 1uz. I have a Link that's been tuned for it in this car, which made 193kw at the hubs. (Andre Simon, Speedtech). gearbox: custom adapted w57 with hydraulic release bearing and custom clutch. $3k ono. driveline: custom driveshaft to r200 diff in modified e21 rear subframe. custom axles, custom 5 stud hubs, custom brakes etc. front end: custom 5 stud hubs, set up with 540i disks (13") and wilwood 4 pot billet callipers $1500 (calipers alone I think were over a grand). tein front coilovers adapted to the e21 struts (shocks need rebuild). M5 replica wheels, 17x8 et20 and basically un-used low profile tyres. $800 ono. 5x120. There's probably more to it, so will add more as I think of things dyno video: there's some other videos on my channel, from when it was running. the shiny/polished bits don't come with the car/engine but i may sell them if the offer is right. 14. i've just set it up so the wheels are always pointing straight forward, and it seems to be great so far. not much roll in corners, the good thing about the bags is that the more weight you put on them, the stiffer they are, and therefore less roll you'll get. when its unloaded, they're nice and soft, so doesn't bang along the road at every bump, yet won't roll in corners because there's no weight on it.
