  1. tell me about it, but oh so worth it. you just look at the rims in the guards and laugh at the c-class merc's with rim sitting just on guard lol
  2. cheers mate, Ive seen yours around (viaduct) too and it too looks low and tidy!!

  4. no probs, will get in contact on monday. Charlie
  5. hey, what about these springs makes them not legal? (Full set of King Supa Lows for E36 sedan 6cylinder (not legal tho)) cut or compressed? cheers
  6. interesting conversation, What i basically mean is i want some good springs that with good shocks will sit the car nicely and also handle well. i see many 3 series with superlow jamex and the back is still a lot higher than the front, if they both lined up things would look good. In time the money is there to do things right, Im after suggestions from people who have been down this road and know what works best in this car. trust me i am also as against cut springs and scraping like all of you. i thing "low az" has been taken the wrong way, of course safety is of a higher priority. cheers.
  7. not cool!!! how many times have i looked at my car and some cheeky street sh*t is looking at the audio to steal. feel sorry 4 u mate, that sh*t is immoral!!
  8. offset is 40. says ET 40 on the back of the wheel. is that a suitable offset for my car? also, what is a good tyre size for the back?, as they are getting down i will be in the market soon and will visit your shop when the time comes. currently on dunlop direzzas all round many thanks.
  9. hey mate yes the car sits 5cm lower main thing that concerns me is that the tyre is 1mm from the back guard lol no breathing room there (poor tyre) , they were off an e46 328i wagon (my mates) yes they are genuine.. is my only option to roll or flare? (dont really want to have to do that) can offsets be changed? will take the wheel off now and get back to you on offset size. many thanks
  10. Ok sweet thanks, bu my handling will be sweet? all safe etc with wrong offset? THANKS
  11. Hey guys, i am thinking of getting jamex superlows and compressing the back 4cm with short sports shocks.. will this be safe and probably captive? does compressing f*%k the springs? where on earth can i get coilovers? thanks heaps
  12. hey all, just got some niiice motorsport rims off an e46 328i wagon. i put these on my e36 1996 328i coupe. i think the rims are 8" wide, tyres are 225/40/18, my problem is the back is 1mm from the guard... is this normal? also front rubs ocasionally (not very often). my questions are: are these mags likely to be the right offset? do i need my guards rolled or flared? if so, where from in auckland is this normal? thanks heaps guys look forward to you help and the discussion, many thanks charlie
  13. Yuen, i think you are right!! as my radiator and waterpump are brand new and just replaced i could be affected by the same problem you had, your advice is gold!! i will try this and keep you updated many thanks
