Haha i just had a flick thru some guff that is in my owners manual folder thing- they had some real gross bmw gear back then- huge brightly coloured cuff links, "bmw style'umbrellas and jackets.... and believe it or not, optional M badges to stick on your car an look all cool! my owners manual and stuff is like a time warp- the only thing ever touched is the service book, all the brochures and catalouges are still there!

Its a real bitch when theres only me in the car and i wanna make the passenger window go down- no can do. And mines only got 2 doors, i kant imagine how sh*t a 4 door manual windows would be!

i hate manual windows basically. they really bite arse. is it poss to shove electric ones in my car? easy/ hard? cheap/ expensive? worth it?

um i dont think it does sound good, altho i mite be wrong; but jerry craptons guessed about 350 for mine, although that mite not include all the rollers etc.....(ahhhh i just realised mine is a 316i- so it prob only applies to 316i's and 318i's) but i think you will find a belt is the same to get replaced anywhere.

so does shadowline include the semi- painted bumpers on the facelifts? im thinkin of gettin this done as well as the chrome on my car, how much would a car painter do it 4? hehehe i may be a student, but i have just taken a loan out... mmmmm course related costs......

jerry clayton (where my kar has been serviced from new) quoted me $850 for a regular service and cambelt. BMW Workshop quoted me $550 for the exact same thing, so im thinking they are good value, not to mention how nice i found the people there :thumb: :thumb: to BMW workshop

heres a useless statement 4ya ok, so i was at the warewhare tday gettin sum roofrax, an parked beside me was a pre- facelift e30. it had: -convertible top -16" alpina's (gotta lov'em, who wouldnt!?) -m- tec kit -twas an m325i -all those little blue and red pinstripes and little logo's on the kit and ok, so it was a little crappy and dented with badly aged paint, but at had all these extra's and yet it still looked damn ugly?! im thinking '80s over- kill eh has anyone else seen it? BUT THIS IS ONLY MY OPINION so condemn me 4 it!
