  1. Oh true yes fair enough. It sort of did that to me once, although it turned itself off. Wouldn't start for like 30 mins (this was in the outside lane of the motorway in peak hour :rolleyes: ). I replaced the fuel pump relay with a new one and the ECU for one out a manual e30 and it never did it again. Im not sure if it was the relay or the ECU that was the issue, but if you want the old ECU to try you can have it.

    Battery was also new from Glenn last year so it would be wierd if it was that (although if it is the problem you will be able to take it back under warranty)... trying to think what else it could be. Perhaps a loose connection to one of the starter terminals? Does it turn over at all?
