  1. Hey All, Looking for some advice, not a super expert at all the mechanics but have popped the door card off and popped the window back in the guides and popped regulator in the windows clips before. I had issues with my window before and at times could hear it pop sometimes when it went around half way down. When it finally gave way I handed the car over to a mechanic to get fixed. He got a new regulator and tried to fix it but then he advised he couldn't do it as there was a problem with the door, so I went and bought a secondhand door from a wrecker and he then changed it. Later it popped off again. I took it to the mechanic and had him fix it again. I've been hearing that pop a few times again and when the window popped off again opened it up to have a look and the new regulator looks shafted too. Could the motor be the issue? Any advice would be much appreciated..
  2. Hey what glue dissolver did you use? I've been looking and could only find a few things and weren't sure they were the right thing.
  3. Hey people, My e36 320I 98 is old and bits are starting to sag. I know how to get the door panel off but what the best way to get the bit that has the cloth on off from the door panel. The the plastic part with the little black circles????
  4. Hi, Having issues with my e36 sedan front window seals, anyone know a cheap fix? i called BMW and they quoted me about $200 for replacements for both windows this seems pricey for rubber and I'd rather spend the dollars on other bits. Any cheaper solutions???

  8. Hi, The headliner on my E36 is drooping now, and after contemplating trying it myself i've decided to get a professional to do the job i've got quotes @ $400 (is this reasonable?) I figured if i'm gonna spend money on it I may as well shake it up a bit and wanna replace the headliner with black cloth but was just wondering whether it's possible to get black sun visors to match (and those ceiling handle things or covers in black). I saw some black sun visors on ebay but they don't ship to NZ??? Any ideas???

  11. Hi, I've recently had to replace my old 320I with a new 320I (E36). Unfortunately the new one doesn't have the leather interior like the old one and so i'm looking to buy some leather covers and replace the cloth covers. I've searched online, but just wanted to pick some brains. Anyone know people in the australasian region who make made to fit leather covers for E36's in the for reasonable prices??
