  1. EDIT: OK, I just read you are in CHCH AHHH! I just posted looking for some parts...I swear I searched the forum and your post didn't come up! Looking for: -Spare 'boot biscuit' wheel + tyre in warrantable condition -Both internal door panels - with all push fixtures intact and door handles etc -Parts from the electric window mechanism (spring clip from where the arm connects to the slide at the bottom of the window mainly) -Wiring loom from factory stereo -side moulding from just in front of driver door -Bulbs etc for internal lights (something about when one goes...they all go? I haven't worked out which one has gone just yet!) -Auto shifter T-handle Random stuff...I know...but if you can help, that'd be great! Cheers - Jeff
  2. Hi, looking for some pretty random parts for my E36 318ti. They include: -Space Saver Wheel + Tyre (or just tyre in good condition) -Both internal door panels - must have all push fixtures in-tact and include door handles etc -The spring clip from the arm of the electric window mechanism (where it attaches to the slide along the bottom of the window) -The wiring loom off the back of the factory stereo (or instructions how to install an old after-market unit!) -I'm sure there are others as well... OR... You can just buy my 1995 E36 318ti for $2500! With all those issues as listed, plus the other usual stuff that seems to go wrong with these, such as; roof lining sag etc. And another couple of scratches etc. Other than that it runs well and has decent tyres etc. Needs warrant and rego (hence some of the parts), rego only just expired. Let me know.
  3. ARGH!!! My passenger window falls out too! So fricken annoying - esp when I have a noob (i.e. my wife) in the front seat who doesn't realise...or like the other day when I leant my car to someone, took them about an hour longer than I thought...b/c they were fixing the window! LOL I've only ever had a look at it to put it back on the rail and wind it up, but not actually fix it permanently. Is this likely something I can so myself, or do I need to 'take it in' as it were? Meanwhile, the little push things that hold the door lining are either getting stuffed or breaking their glue to the lining. Any advice here? Obviously I can just reglue the OK ones, but getting replacements for the stuffed ones etc...am I best just to get new linings compeltely? Cheers, Jeff
  4. Hi guys, Looking for the automatic shifter handle for a 318ti. The one I'm after is a 'T' style with the bulk of the handle and the button on the left of the shifter shaft. Those of you that have had the problem of it just snapping off will know exactly what I am talking about! Again...that guy in Ellerslie has quoted me what I suspect is a ridiculous price! Would rather give my money to a Bimmersporter. Chur
  5. Hi guys, I am after either just the balljoint in good nick or a whole lower arm assembly for the right Hand front of my E36 318ti. That cat in Ellerslie reckons $130 for the whole arm...I have no idea if this is a good price or not, but I suspect it's not . I would much rather give that money to a Bimmersport member . Please let me know about: a ) The price b ) if you have one!!! Cheers, Jeff
  6. Howdy! Just swinging past on the recommendation of a friend in search of a wheel for my flatmate's 316ti. Post made in the appropriate forum if you are able to help Any way...THANKS!
  7. Sorry to make my first post a request for sale... My flatmate's got an E36 316ti and desperately needs a std factory steel wheel. He hit a curb about 6 months ago and rooted it and has been on a 'boot biscuit' ever since. One with a warrantable tyre would be best. Cheers! Jeff
