The MBI Company will also require copies of service invoices if a claim is made and these must be GST invoices with labour, parts and and sundries itemized . Doing anything dodgy to make a claim can also result in a fraud prosecution

Most late model Euro cars don't have dipsticks these days...apart from the one behind the wheel. They are now going a little further and no more sump plugs. There is a plug, but if you remove it you need to replace the sump. And this is happening now on some Euro's. Not had it on a BMW yet, but it will no doubt come. It's a bit like the use once bolts that now prevail within the industry. At this stage I've only seen it on the VW Audi range with plastic sumps.

They keep buying a badge they had a love affair with many years ago. This will fade with time and their empty pockets will cause them to take the walk

Because BMW don't continue to sell mechanical excellence any more. It's all about toys and bling. Same as all the other Euro Manufacturers. Reliability and reasonable maintenance costs have flown out the widow with the designers and the number crunchers

What are the common air leak location on a m43 engine, I have checked the all the intake boot before the throttle body, they are good.
I would say you wasted $24.99 on that because it can be tested with your finger as far as a non start issue, but not as a prolonged throttle situation. You may need it later for future problems though. Most technicians are capable of checking a non start pressure related issue on these older vehicles by inspection and feel... carry on though.. I'll keep watching

Stop fiddling and guessing and be careful with the advice given on here. Get it scanned and checked by a professional BMW specialist

Captain Money.... go to a BMW specialist before this turns into a money pit nightmare with all the misinformation and suggestions you may be getting for your E90. You have already been hit in the pocket with an idiot repairer

It could be a clog in the air intakes and also check the PCV valve.
What is a "clog" and how do you check a PCV valve ? What is a PCV valve ?

Good point. The Blue sensor is the engine temp sensor btw.
Faulty one could be telling the ECU the engine is cold and it's still dumping in extra fuel...
Another one is no thermostat, That gives you horrible mileage as the engine has no time to warmup.
Could please expain how to check this falt ?

Seriously, My m20b20 used to be the same as this.. It was slow and sluggish, blew smoke up high in the rev's, spat unburnt fuel when idling. The fix, threw that motor.
Reading some of your posts sir, actually lead me to believe that you have "thrown" quite a few motors, without actually achieving a result. It seems everything either fails or leads to more drama and then ends up in the bin , trade me or the for sale threads on here. I have trouble understanding this when you are offering advise to people when I can see you have a little knowledge in some areas, but you actually fail in quite a few areas as well. I'm sure as time progresses you will achieve your goal.

??? It came up expired auction ?

I was referring to the height of the vehicle when I said your mods were not my cup of tea....not the other things you have done. Good to see you have gotten over the low as theme and are now going to go with better springs and shocks
When asking for peoples thoughts on a forum... always expect criticism, because everyone has different opinions.
Their opinions are not personal attacks... I hope....but some here might not feel the same
You will always get opinions that you may like and some that you may not like....however you did ask
And BTW.. I actually thought there was something wrong when I saw you the other day
