Haha damn. Anyone seen the half face of a white dude in the drivers side headlight closest to the grille? (Pic 1) Freaky lol
-
Haha sorry bud, its definately the passenger side that is about 1cm higher
-
Ok well the car is higher on the passenger side by roughly 1cm or so, so i dont think that theory of the driver evening it out ..... will try have a word with the suspension gurus or something..
-
Ah thats sounds about right with hondas ... heard thru mates about that too. All gud then, at least im not the only one i take it? I'll double check that theory and get a mate to hope in the drivers seat Cheers bro

Yea i've seen that site before and others, but ive seen quite a few BMW's without the lean. strange ..... yes! lol Glad you managed to get you idle fixed on your 318ti I need to get mine looked at sometime soon :S Cheers for the help tho
-
with its factory springs in, i think i remember it have a slight lean. Car has just recently had jamex sprng put in and still has the slight lean... just seems pretty odd haha but annoying too
-
Ok, I'm wondering if anyone can help me or shed some light on this thats doing my head in I have a 1996 BMW 318is 4 Door I've noticed for a while that the car leans on one side more than the other ...... R/H side about 1cm - 1.5cm higher than the L/H side..... Has anyone experienced this before?? and if so how did you go about it? It's been bugging me lol Cheers guys
-
Mhmm i will have to get back to you on my factory wheel size Car is a E36 318is
-
i just thought after reading on these forums with guys that have 19"s that its best to go for 215's so you dont get much rubbing and they will clear the gaurds.... i was gona say how were your fronts with the ET41 offset but then again you have 7.5" wheels so would mean a different case for me
-
mhmm i see, hopefully its not going to be an expensife fix How much am i looking at for a scan and possibly the sensor if need be replaced? Ill visually check for hoses for the time being but will get it scanned to be on the safe side Thanks Botany Motorworx ...... sorry your name was? lol Mite have to pay you guys a visit

Hey guys ..... The E36 318 Ti has been having strange idles on and off .... usually being rough up and down between 500 - 1000rpm .... other time doesnt hapen at all, but when it does hapen like today, travelling aroung 50kms, the car hesitated and wouldnt accelerate, but when i put the gas pedal to the floor it goes away... Have been reading up that it could possible be the ICV (inlet control valve) that needs cleaning. Or checking that the inlet hose from the engine to the filter box has no cracks. Anything else that i may need to look into? Anyone had similar problems to this and got it fixed? and how?
-
Ok ...... 3pedals and zenetti.... or anyone else What do you guys think about 19" x 8" 215/35/r19 ET42 ?? Sorry just dont want to get wheels and have problems with inner front wheels rubbing etc etc as i plan to lower the go but not to extremes like slabs lol Thanks any feedback would be great
-
Thats good info, thanks
-
Thanks Zenetti and 3 pedals ..... really explains alot especially for the front, i always thought that higher offset brings the wheel out .... Been alot of help, will have to search for some more 19" wheels that will hopefully fit with no problems Cheers guys
