  3. Personally I wouldn't go near state, I was with them for 4 years, no claims, no offenses and on my full, and when I rang them to notify them that I put on the 17inch Alpina Reps on my 325i they cancelled my policy on the spot as the vehicle was "too modified." So I went to Tower and got a better deal for less. That was my experience anyway...
  4. Not sure if its been posted, but I came across this today, thought it be of interest... bummer about the result...
  5. it makes a big difference IMO, just touching up the small stuff, i.e. the black plastic trim around teh wipers, grills etc especially if its going chalky and its not to bad a job, just an afternoon or two.
  6. The 16's look sweet on the wagon... actually the entire thing looks pretty amazing, loving the tech 2 in green!
  7. How bad was the weather on friday night? A full nightmare.... got the reps from from Jono at Mag and Tyre Direct

    MY 320i E30

Super tidy car man, well done - I had Hyper Tyres in penrose run a new aerial along the top of the windscreen it was pretty cheap and you can't see it at all.
  9. Thanks, Yep Mike was fixing up the kit, the front was pretty rough when i got it... would definately recommend Admunsen's for paint and panel work.
  10. to be honest, the black trim isn't the greatest, infact its next on the list... think the photos make it look alot better than it is.and yep, alot of this car is new or replaced... i was having a laugh the other day thinking about how its pretty much a different car now to the one i bought its had so much replaced
  11. yep thats the old girl in the background... and we still have the BBQ trailer...

Anyway Heres some pics... If I upload them properly.. no promises...

    New Rims

Looks way better bro. WAAAAAAAY better. IMO.
  16. are the passenger side doors straight and rust free?
  17. Wow. that thing is gorgeous well done. Where did you get the Remus?
  18. I agreed with the gist of the above, starting the year thinking 'recession, what recession?' as well. Hell I even contributed to Jonno's %20 sales increase - loving the alpina reps BTW... Then I got made redundant and have had a hell of a time finding a job that was comparable to what I had. Self-employed at the moment due to the job market being well stuffed. I was neither "highly geared or leveraged" but i was "f**ked" when I lost my job and had to start living off savings with no income for longer than i would've liked... so I guess for alot of people like me the recession wasn't there until it was.. if you know what i mean..
  19. "...spotted a VERY VERY mint, White '89 M325i E30 Coupe, OU32##, had only 110k on the odo and is NZ new was so original, all the trim looked new, the paint looked like it was done just yesterday anyone know who owns it? edit- was seen in takapuna " I see this M325 most days on my way to/from work in takapuna. Its mint. At first I was stoked, but now it pains me. A daily reminder of my Mtech II-lessness.
  20. i think it looks pretty tough in the front pic.. other than that im not so sure... it has too many gills IMO.
