  1. They are fine and have them set aiming lower on the road so it doesn't blind other people. But it's always going to be illegal since the car never came from factory with them so would be a WOF issue but it's also an item that anyone could add after getting a WOF so most places seem to overlook it. When I've gone through check points or been pulled over nothing has been said about them

  2. I have added angel eyes and HID to the last few of my BMWs and this it looks good. I recently-ish put 8000k HIDs and LED angel eyes in my black E36. Looks quite good and freshens up the front end much more without any yellow light. Just stay away from colored angel eyes if you do decide to get them and just still with white. Keeps it nice and clean

  3. Nasty! I dread things like that getting stuck - once you start, you can't stop!

Put some coolant in it this time too :P

Haha I know I know. I wasn't running it with it empty but I did empty it because I knew it would all need to be changed so it sat dry for a few days. Now I'm just hoping I got all the shattered plastic out of the engine....

  4. You cant be that interested if you dont know they are different cars. The last one for sale (3 or so months ago) had been reregistered which could mean it was a rebuilt write off.

Oh well I got them mixed up big deal. Thought the plate looked familiar. But I still stand by my comment that if the car looks good to you and you are happy with how it drives then go for gold

  5. Wave... I won't think you're weird! Are you another local? I see Milan (BEEMN) a fair bit locally too in his rather tasty motorsport E61.

Yeah local, Herne Bay area. So always around, very rarely driving though. But I'll be the sweaty guy waving and wearing neon trainers haha

  6. You've worked everywhere, mate! It was parked up at the MGM Grand, LV when I saw it.

Which is fairly ironic since I haven't worked in NZ for a number of years. Should get a job sometime huh? Ahh MGM Grand, such a maze of a place. Luckily I'm banned from there now anyway.

I see Julian in that shiny shiny shiny E39 most days going along Ponsonby Road. Every time I stop running and drool a little.

  7. I was lucky enough to spot this E92 M3 'Lime Rock Park Edition' - One of 200(?).

Looked gorgeous in the flesh, love the colour so much!

Excuse the crappy carpark iPhone pics.

Haha I know this one! I did the dealer trade on it to Century BMW when I was working at Beverly Hills BMW. Awesome car. Colour has to be seen in person to appreciate it. It was our Halloween promo car last year..

  8. Personally I'd get something in writing like in an email or something where they have said they are at fault and will pay for reparation otherwise it could be likely that they will then deny was them. I've seen it happen to people I know, one they took them a quote and saw how much it was going to cost they just said no. Then went on to say they didn't even do it and that they never said they will pay for it to be repaired.

Not to say these people will do this, but it's smart to cover your bases so your not left to foot the bill.
