  1. Feel your pain. My Jeep was broken into a few months ago in my carport in Kohimarama. Ransacked(s?) - nothing taken or broken, just stuff left everywhere. I leave nothing in view or of value in any car btw.

A modified rat trap is waiting for their next "feel-inside-centre-console-in-dark" break in.......

    Can't wait.

  2. An old trick that works every time ( as mentioned before ) is get a 21mm single hex socket, smack it on with a hammer until it's right on, then just power bar it off. 21mm is 99% fit, for others use another socket that you can't get over it by hand, hammer only. And only use a single hex.

Will need a vice and punch to get the old nut out.

I've had to do this so many times with mates cars and customers who can't find the key in the past.

Ever wonder how the scum bags get your wheels off without your nut key?.... same ole 21mm socket and hammer.

  3. Right - just a work bench and a swivel vice.

Won't upload pic's here, save a bit of bandwidth I guess.

Solid metal top is 5mm thick. Length - 1.36 x .82 high x .630 wide. Sturfy to handle any hammering or engines etc.

Has wood slats underneath for putting whatever. Not sold legs. Easier to man handle around the place.

This is a decent engineers work vice. Jaws are 6 inch across and opens upto 6.5 inches.

Swivel base and can also take a hammering. 3 x mounting holes.

    Bench 90 buks

    Vice 90

    both together 170

End up on trade me if no ones interested.... better deal here to you guys of course.

  4. Black - paint it balck. Black is cool and maori chrome wheels :D

    Keeping the tray on it?

Edit: i'll get more organised next week. I'll throw up individual tools , testing equipment, tool boxes etc....

or look under eraser on tardme for what's there now, can withdraw if anyone interested.

  5. Before I wack this on trademe, i'll advertise it on here. like this pic below. Bought from Sulco tools a few years ago. Used twice.

4 adjustable mounting arms blar blar. Jockey type front wheels. All wheels metal. 360 deg rotate.

Infact have a whole workshop of equipment i'm selling. Big ass drill presses to tin snips to large tool boxes If you are after anything, workshoppy, ask and i'll see if I got it :0

  6. I'm not indulging my personals on the web. Sure, if it's submitted to a site that set that sh*t up or email.... nar, not even on a forum.

    Will however do this:

    Voltaren MGB GT

luckily that was actually first, otherwise it would be

    Voltaren Kimberly

    :o

  7. So - you illegally download software off the net, big deal. But you are stupid enough to blab to the whole internet about it, and then offer it for resale.

The knumbnuts is strong in this one.

--Edit for spelling, and must say you do a good job at pchop.

  8. Remove dizzy rotor ( a ploy ) and leave HT leads as per normal. Get old plugs and smack the ends to no gap. Get an old dizzy cap and basterize it if you have to get the carbon centre out of it, or better still, isolate it with rubber ( under the spring ). This way hopfully they won't easily spot it. Isolate coil neg with a piece of rubber and put wire back on so you dont know its there. ( all above take 15 mins boozed time ) Example, plugs missing they will just slap new ones in and check cap/rotor thinking you are so smart and sneaky. Replace coil HT with a known dud, leaving everything looking as if it should be there.

In saying that, fit a kill switch ( and not obvious as in a huge wire to the kill switch from the engine bay that a idiot would say 'whats that huge wire there, it looks new compared to the shitty wiring ) also and make sure it's in such a wanky place that you need to be super flexable like our mate sic to find it :)

If it's not injected, remove fuel line to carb and ram a stud or something down there to stop fuel flow. You know it's there, so a easy remove is, well easy.

Got a single spinner? get a old axle and chop the spline off it and put that back in.

Seriously, if you are that worried, and have no secure storage, hire a storage or get your garage to store it while you are away.

The key is to make it look 'normal' and untampered. Thieves are smart, but no rocket scientists.

I can rig your car to give a brazzilion volts to who ever touches it. Or my favourite, a brazzilion amps. Video the is a must.

  9. If you find yourself doing clearances, and can't remember which is 10 or 8 thou ( or what ever), just think of heat and expansion.

Exhaust is always the greater of the two if there is a differance.

TIP: If you don't understand, don't lift the bonnet

    :)

  10. Formatt - re install windose.

Install a good Linux distro on a partition.

Use Linux for all webbin, and windose for gaming and essential software you must use for business etc.

Spybot, adaware, antivirus and a GOOD firewall along with Peerguardian2 in windose will see you right.

  11. Link to the ad

and it will be considered offensive to many Maori and non-Maori.

Speak for yourself mate. I'm a NZ European, and I think it's fantastic. It's pretty cool that they think they can sell more cars to chicks with this add.

maori need to take a bloody chill pill.

  12. The 318iS I brought over 2.5 years ago, and recently sold, was from Singapore. Not a problem at all ( except from a door actuator, which is common )

Luck of the draw I guess, but mine was all good and literally just put gas in it from the day I owned it.

  13. Save yourself the hassle and get the locksmith to make one

Any Idea if I could ring a BMW dealership and get the key code for my car or if they would have a key I could buy for it? Is there anywhere on the car that I can get they key code from?
    E from NZG's

buy from Brent. He knows his sh*t. While you are there, drain his brain - he'll proberly know the part number for your left testie

Edit: Missing whole lock/barrel might as well get new set.
