  1. Hey guys!! Right so I have a question, I have a 1988 e30, 318i. It's got a blown trans, so I've got a new gear box that's been recondition , with recipts. Before I bought I made sure it would fit. Now I've come to fit it and the gear box I removed from my car has a two pin plug On the passengers side of the gear box behind the selector. And the other one doesn't , I know it's not the kick down cable , or speedo as that's in the diff. What else could this be and will my new gear box fit without this cable being plugged in? Any help would be much appreciated , Thanks
  2. Hey I was wondering if any automatic gear stick surrounds fit on e30s? Mine is old and tacky and all the black bristles have worn off , Maybe out of a e36 or something? Cheers
  3. Hi all, i recently bought a donor car for my e30, needed a few parts and it was cheap. came with the spot lights, one was cracked so had it replaced, so i decided to put them in to my car witch only had the blanks. I put the lights in and used the factory wiring only for the plugs. I gathered some wire from Jaycar and took the switch from my donor car and put it where the blank is to the left on the light switch, i didnt use the dimmer under the steering wheel as it was broken. i ran wires from the firewall to the lights and back to the battery, covered all exposed wires in this heat wrap to give it the factory look, looks very nice some of my mates couldn't even tell i did it myself. So basically im asking if any of you guys would have done this different to me? if so let me know thanks
  4. Do you have any pictures bud? Hard to tell , is it bubbly rust or just a bit of bare metal that has gone rusty ?

So i decided to take down some measurements and go to the local car wreckers and find a lip. i found a 89 Civic Si front lip and bought it for $5, took it home and did abit of cutting, made up a 5mm plate from alloy to rivet the lip together in the middle, top and bottom, also made some brackets the made the factory lip screw holes able to hold the new civic lip without re-drilling in to the bumper,. her's some pictures, only put them as links as i don't know how to add attachments lol, what you all think? Cheers
