ohk im pritty sure i understand what you guys have told me . I had plans of getting the whole car and pulling it out my self but i have since missed out on it but thats not too say i wont be putting the suggestions to work just a matter of finding another donor car. much appreciated guys!

Engine in my 87 320i recently spat the dummy and now eyeing up a 1990 to replace it with just wondering if its a straight swap. any help appreciated

im pretty sure it was blowing out greyish smoke aye

ohk sweet thanks for the suggestions guys that Idle control valve im not too sure where it is/what it looks like though..

got a 1987 320i, been playing up wont idle properly, an extemely rough idle . drove it the other day couldnt apply throttle would stutter then accelerate, last time it was started it idled as rough as it ever has, blowing way too much smoke then just died.. checked the intake maifold, found a fair bit of fuely oil in there, not sure if thats good or not? car wont start at all now, getting a pain in the butt, any ideas

After running gear like manifold intake distributor etc got a good block but some ones stuffd around and replaced sh*t with stuff they shouldnt have.. Its a e30 320i

Have just replaced both rear cross arms new hub etc etc and now need to change the hand brake cables over on one side. i loosend the bolt underneath the handbrake in the car but it feels like theres something else holding it in when i pull on the cable, dont wana pull to hard cause this proceedure is new too me, any ideas?
