Hi Guys, Wondering if anyone could shed some light, or have struck this issue before. I have a 2009 320D and I had noticed an accumulation of road dust in the boot. It started off slight, but is progressively getting worse (to the point where if I now drive through road works I notice a fine mist of dust) does anyone know what could be causing this? Thanks in advance.

Hey Guys, My air conditioning blower motor as been playing up the last few months. Did the whole wd-40 trick which got it going again back in January but now has stopped again, and its been 3 days! Wondering where I can go for a replacement or part? Seen a replacement tutorial online that looks do-able but would prefer to go somewhere that can do it quickly as I find the car/seats in the heat unbearable! Can travel to Auckland etc, but Hamilton preferred! Thanks for any help in advance.

Thanks guys. Yeah I'm quite impressed with the 900kms I got from the first tank! The colour is Bluewater metallic

Hey Guys, I've seen the light. I Had a 318is a few years back, then went for an Altezza Rs200, then went a 2008 Mazda Atenza, now I've gone a 2009 LCI 320D M Sport. Here's some pictures excuse the front pic, for some reason the phone made the colour seem very blue. I like the black rims but I think it's attracting the wrong type of attention. Feedback would be good

Hey, Been a while since Ive been on here, went Toyota, now Mazda and now contemplating changing my current car to a E90. Just a quick question - I saw somewhere online that the 320i E90 had two different engines - one around 150hp and the other 170(ish) and that the 170HP one came out in 2009? is this the case? I would like a 323i or 325i but don't want the fuel bill (read online around 12L per 100km). Not a biggy for most, but I do around 1000km per week. Test drove a 320d and love it - but would only buy a diesel if it was near new, its on the wish list! If all the imported 320i's are only 150hp I dont think I will go there - had a 318is years ago and found it was quite gutless. Another option is to always jump to the Audi 2.0T or 1.8T - but i'd rather the BMW!

hey, My car (e36 318is) has recently started having a temperamental starting problem, occasionally happens every now and then. Put the key in, turn, and the dash lights etc work, but the car wont crank... If i leave it for a while (sometimes 30 secs, sometimes 20mins) it will start again. Does this problem sound familiar? I have pretty much got a brand new battery, so thats not the issue. Cheers!

Ive got a e36 318is (auto) and started having transmission problems a couple of months ago. All gears work fine when cold, however, when its hot (after 20min of running) it slips. Runs fine when taking of from a stop, but slips when crawling, then accelerating. Obviously annoying and being a student im on a semi tight budget. Changed the oil, the old oil smelt burnt. So guessing the trans needs replacing Options I can think of is converting to a manual (would rather that anyway) - does any one know any where in Hamilton/Auckland areas that can do a drive in-out conversion? I know SD european do- but been told they charge quite a lot? Or anyone know of any where that can replace with a second hand box for a reasonable price? Not considering reconditioning the trans Cheers for any help!

As some one said before, its not the company name to blame, i think each individual branch's performance depends on the fitter at the time. My olds used morrinsville S&S for a screen replacement ten years ago (in a 18 month old car at the time) and its leaked ever since, when ever it rains the carpet under the drivers footwell gets flooded! took it back to smith and smith and they couldnt figure out the leak, just basted the foam filler all round the joints which looked terrible. Eventually they pretty much said its not their problem so had a leaky run around car since. However I got a crack repaired in matamata few weeks ago, did a good job, was pretty happy with it. So depends on the branch. I only use smith and smith because insurance deals with them, when ive had to pay for windscreens etc ive used other firms, way better prices.

Just wondering if many people have much experience with HID's. Brought my car with them fitted aftermarket, But over the past week the drivers side has been abit reluctant to work, if you turn the switch on/off numerous times eventually it will work. Any one have any ideas what this could be? or if bulbs ever need replacing? Also, Just wondered where i could get my airbag sensor reset in hamilton? I know coombes is there but i didnt really want to pay their price if i don't have too? as ive replaced the broken sensor so the problem should be rectified. Cheers in advance for any help/advice

It looks like its missing a side indicator on drivers side, pretty rough bumpers, and got a few dents over it. Prob cost abit to fix it up. Yeah id say repo, for some reason repo cars are always mistreated. Shame, someone should buy it and bring it back to life.

Nick, Did a search on the satin black today, and Henderson Repco have 2 cans in stock.
-
whats the part code???? should be around the barcode on the can?
-
Get repco to grab stock and transfer from another branch... they can do that really easily you just might have to pay a small freight fee. whats the part code on the can? and where abouts are you from?

We sell them at work, Blueant was a good option until Uniden released there model. We would sell 10 unidens to 1 blueant, uniden has good reviews. Looks nicer with the screen too.
