Gear nob and boot and window switches.

Hi, I Got an e30 do I need any mods to my brakes for these to work. they are standard. like the look of the solided ones.

Need the part that holes the boot down onto the console for a manual. Have a picture if ya dont understand. and website not sure if thats what I want or not. http://www.dcp-shop.co.uk/buy-car-accessor...oducts_id=10918

I brought a leather boot for it but came with nothing for hold the boot up and drops dwn into where the wires are in the picture above. Heres a picture of what I want. Around the gear stick theres something holding it up. I have nothing there to hold the boot up.

Where can I get one from. are they universal fit from other cars.

Oh realy didnt know they all did. I have only seen 3 or 4 e30's like that. Heres a couple of pic's. I had to cut piece out as it wont go into reverse. also how does the boot go onto the surrounding panel. P.S. The panel was made for an auto I cut out the P.R.D.123 stuff. Does the boot slide under the panel??

Got an tranmisson conversonion done and I need a console that fits around the boot. Its the m-spec gearbox one with the reverse up next to first. Any one know whats sure post to hold the boot in. Have an auto surrounding for it but I will need to cut it as cant get it in reverse. are there special surroundings for this type of box. someone help. looks very untidy.

What sort of alternator can fit in down there any? I know it will need custom mounts. I will have 1 guage wiring from battery to amps and for grounding. Battery will be mounted in boot so close to amps. whats a smoothing capacitor. that just a cap?

Whats needed for me to run a second battery. Will it help with my audio gear im running. will I need upgrades of any sort. Cheers innovance.

Just looked info up MMMMM peak rms powers. Hate how they do this. RMS POWER @ (1 ohm) Not Stated: Peak = 3000 watts x 1 chan. WTF ?????? lol .25 ohms Thanks pjay for model number

Hi There,Do you have the model number of the amp. Im thinking boss only use peak ratings on there gear not rms ratings. Theres abit of differnce between the two. also is it mono 2channel 4. What sort of subs was the amp running.

His brother was using his car and played with the idle and its ideling very low. almosts dies when driving his brother is away on a OE. He lives out in the country and doesnt have internet or a garage close by to ask about this. So I thought I would ask on here.

Where can the screw be found do you have to remove all the housing. or is it hiding down the side or under it somewhere.

Its a great haedunit. Alpine has the best sound quality headunits for 2007 & 2008. Its has all the features needed for an ipod. If wanting front and back speakers get alpine also they work best with there own headunits. Or if your going to amp them get what ever you like. watts/rms peaks ratings doesnt means very little if your just wanting something to listen to its all about what you like the sound of everybody is different.

Hey There, I had this problem only 3 weeks but. I got it checked out $500 and the second gear cluth had gone. Guy said this offer happens to the e30 transmissions. Now I got ma manual waaaay better ;D

Yeah this is what im looking at doing. Was just wondering if you can just buy them instead off having to make/mod something together.
