Hey guys, use to be quite an active member back in the day but got into the jap scene for quite some time. Anyway, I'll re-introduce myself. James from Rota Wheels (360Link). Have had many years under BMW's including a small stint working on our previous E30 series race car etc. Just to clarify a few things with the stretched tyres: Rim poke doesn't instantly mean fail, if the tread is inside the guards and the rim to tyre ratio is correct it is legal. Please see: http://www.lvvta.org.nz/documents/infoshee...ility_Guide.pdf for the LVV sheet. As far as stretching other tyres go, as stated above, Falkens have been legally approved within NZ. We were the ones who brought the Falken sheets to NZ and pushed it through with the assistance of Platinum Wheels. This does not only apply to the FK452 but the ZE912 also. It does allow for quite a bit more lenience, such as a 17x9 normally requires a 235/45 or 235/40. With the Falkens you can legally go to a 215/40/17 etc. If you would like a copy of either of these sheets, please don't hesitate to contact me - [email protected] and I'm happy to send you these. We can also do great quotes on the Falken tyres also. FK452 is a directional tyre, ZE912 is an asymmetric tyre. Both are great bang for buck, I personally run the FK452 and can't fault it in the dry or wet, wear and performance is exceptional. Another thing to note, camber laws have come in quite a bit as of late, when certing from memory you can't have more than 1 degree over factory. E.g factory may be -1 degrees, you can legally go to -2 degrees. I will check up on this but I believe it to be correct. Hope I've been of some assistance. Cheers -James

Bronze wheels would look absolutely wicked on a black, silver, charcoal or even a white car! they look bloody mean, look into getting some: VOLK, or RAYS wheels ( dunno if theyre the same thing ) but anyway they look mean as!!!
-

yeh this one was mtec 2, the guy claims it to be 195bhp standard, but i find that all hard to believe but him working at team mcmillan makes it a little more believable, it was white with black leather, immaculate, 325IS badge on the back, he sed if he was to sell it wud be 13-14k as i offered him a price
-
yeh i didnt believe the guy at first, but he seemed to know what he was talking about, he worked at Team Mcmillan in Wairau park area, by the north shore event centre. But thanx for that, its just an idea at the moment but i really like those mags so hopefully ill get myself a set.
-
i dont know whether this is true or not, but yesturday i talked to a guy with a while mtec 2 325 IS, he sed his cars 5 stud, only 5 325 IS's in the country with it, he had 15" basketweaves on, and u can change a cars stud patter with these plates, e.g. change it to 5studx120 or wateva as far as i know, and Drift R's are f**ken mean
-
not pwned actually, u can buy stud coversion plates from mag and turbo for $495, :finger: sum ppl may not think it's worth it but i do, its only a possibility at the moment, we will see.
-
BACK OFF!!!!! :rambo: haha jokes, go for it, im lookin at sum drift R's neway
-
can i ask where you got them from? theyre mint as, i want them but i gota buy sumthing bigger first
-
whos the girl? lol, how did u manage only 350k's? or did u just buy a new dash heh, that gets me thinking....... but anyway i just clicked over 183,000k's the other day
-
looks tidy as man, does it go alright? is it auto or 5spd?
-
well, theres 325is ( all the american ones and uk ones etc.) which are just m325's without kits most of them, but theres a very unique "sport" model which we wont go into as its a long discussion but its inbetween as good as a M325 and a M3 ( high compression pistons, dog-leg box, etc. etc. ) but M325's are better in my opinion than any 325is, hope that helps u out
-
yeh to be honest im not sure how its getting in her, its through a mate, so i hope hes got everything sorted, if so ill be a very happy chappy the only problem is that it has straight cut gears so the whine that u hear from reverse will be there for every gear :S but im sure ill get over it or ill just drown it out with the exhaust
