Selling a set of four 15" wheels. Stud pattern is 4X100 and offset is et25. They are in good condition with no Kerb rash. The paintwork does have a few chips from general wear and tear but they are only noticeable up close. They come with 205/55/15 Toyo Proxes with varying amounts of tread left; one is almost new, another is half worn and two very borderline. I am not sure who they are made by as they came with the car. From what I can tell they were manufactured in 1994 and have "Licencsed By BBS" stamped on the back. They would be an excellent set for a e30 series car $400 ono Pickup in Epsom or I can arrange shipping at the buyers expense Give us a PM or call/text 021-252-2686 http://www.flickr.com/photos/64078246@N08/6681528313/

As my e30 is no longer being used for track duty I am selling my track day tyres; a set of four 15" bridegestone RE540s road legal semi slicks. They have only done one track day and consequently have very little wear. On the track they were amazing being far more grippy and forgiving than the toyo proxes I used previously. Whilst they were off the car they have been stored properly; away from heat and sunlight I'm after $450 for the set which is a good deal considering they were worth over a grand new and have only been used once. I will include the alloys they are mounted on for an extra $150 http://www.flickr.com/photos/64078246@N08/...in/photostream/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/64078246@N08/...in/photostream/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/64078246@N08/...in/photostream/

When buying these I looked at the cup kit the problem was its really made for the US market and dropped the car too much to be practical on NZ roads, these you can run with any spring choice you want to get your preferred height. Secondly the fact that most race suspension kits run with bilsteins (e.g. the TMS J-stock kit) reflects well on their durability

I'm getting rid of these as i have decided to build a e30 series car which will require the class control konis. They are brand new and still in the box and come with all original documentation including receipt (for 1145). These are the best shock that Bilstein make for e30s and are used on many race cars e.g the bimmersport open class e30 $950.

How much are we looking at for a set of konis?

After changing the sump on my E30 which involved raising the engine off its mounts it has been running rich. I originally though the ecu had done something weird as the battery had been diconected for a few days while i did this however it has been reset so im assuming its not to blame. Does anyone know why this could be i have heard it can be to do with pipes losing pressure but im no expert.

So heres my issue. the previous owner of my 88 325i fitted the car with apex springs which dropped the car considerably. this means i hit the bump stops everytime i go over a speed bump at any more than walking pace, and i managed to put a hole in my sump just from driving over a mates driveway. As you can imagine i am growing somewhat tired of this and using it as an excuse to treat myself to brand new suspension, im pretty much sold on bilstein sport shocks but am wondering what spring I should go with, i definitely appreciate a firm low ride, I just dont want to destroy the car everytime I drive down the road. im keen to know what has worked for others so any advice or experience would be great. To add to this, it has dawned on me that the springs could be inteded for a 318 as the car is sitting much lower at the front than at the back. any thoughts on this?
