This isn't necesarily the case. If you get it sweet, it will be very reliable.Turbos can be just as bad if not worse... Esp. if you start winding the boost up. heh, yeah, and what of the cost to "get it sweet" ? Id prefer to own a newer car, where most stuff is still sweet, and leave it running sweet.. i dont intend on heavily modifying cars, including the turbo i buy.. My decision isnt really up for debate, if you want to ask questions about the sale, please post, otherwise... yeah..

had one..i was attempting to own a real car, seems this bimmer isnt it
-
Ill take 6k cash without the headunit 6.5k as is

Nah, its not that its too slow, just that i wasnt aware bmws had such high maintenance requirements And i also wasnt aware id have to spend $2000 AFTER sale to make it WoFable... My assumption is that this sort of cost can only get worse, so im getting out before getting stuck with a high cost vehicle p.s its as quick as Grants...

psimon, did you own a skyline before your bimmer?

Hmmm $110 US is $160ish NZ I had no idea the exchange rate was so good!

When your driving in a straight line the bar would be under tension anyhow - and cornering puts the towers under compression. You just need a bar that fits - not an adjustable one. Looks like we just need a bar that fits....You can pay $300ish for a piece of metal that will do the same thing as a $100 piece if you want Carl.. Seems some of us are on a lower budget, and prefer to shop around for good deals.. Granted, i paid $400 a pop for the ones on my skyline, did a great job.. but the $115 one on my vtec prelude prior to skyline was just as good.. Shrug, each to their own..

Carl, why go to that expense, when you can just get them made here? All we need is a piece of solid alloy/steel between the top of the struts.. Smokin is onto it.. i believe..
