Looking for a BMW mechanic near Remuera

Thanks for your suggestions. The car needs an inspection II service, brake pads/discs and there is a cooling system leak..... McMillian does a good job, but the car's getting on and I'm not so worried about the dealer service stamps hence I'm looking around. -
Hi Can anyone recommend a good mechanic/garage for the 330? The bills from McMillian are getting pricy so I'd like to see what the alternatives are. Cheers Matt

A decent chip will give you gains.... if your not worried about fuel consumption also put in a 3 bar fuel pressure regulator, bore your throttle body to 64mm, add a decent exhaust header and richen up your air flow meter.

When it's wet it allows you to get a tighter fit, it may even shrink slightly when it drys out. It doesn't need to be soaking just damp. Also if it's wet it probably cuts down the amount of glass fibers in the air.

Paul, I don't suppose you know of any other Grp A's for sale? I'd be interested in talking to anyone who's got one. Cheers Matt

Does anyone know where I can get copies of the NM500 races? I'm more interested in the '87 to '92 races with the Group A cars. I have contacted TV3 but got nowhere..... Cheers

Hi Does anyone know a good place to get Mahle pistons for a 1988 325i E30? I'm looking for the euro spec pistons which apparently produce a higher compression than the standard pistons. Thanks
