I changed the oil on my 325i this weekend, together with the filter and plugs etc. Now there seems to be a ticking noise between 1500-3500 rpm. It goes away when revved hard but generally sounds a bit rough. I put the specified oil ammount in. I have read on some other forums that over-filling yr oil can help after an oil change. Was wondering if anyone else had encounterted this. Ta

Cheers, funnily enough the tank was already on the car (Bombers to London!!!??!?!? you been following me??) ill just keep my eye on it, how accurate are those "range" guides on the computer??

I have just bought a 1989 325i which apparently has a long range tank or extended reservoir (costs over $90 to fill!!) This was filled at the weekend but now the fuel light is coming on even though the needle is showing full (or nearly full). Anyone had this before or is it a electrical connection fault? Cheers

I am looking to buy a 325i. im pretty specific on what i want. Ideally - 1989 - 90 facelift, Black, leather int, bbs alloys, lowered but NOT thrashed, straight and original. 3 door as a prefrence but not vital, in Auckland. I have a totally sweet blue 4 door 318i 1989, i just want to beef it up a bit. totally be into a trade. muchos
