Hi do you guys know where I can get the after market extra bright light bulbs for my e65? It is easy to change or do I have to remove the bumper? I used to buy philips for my e46 and did the whole thing myself,cost around $100.

Private track day....just wanna race for fun and see how fast I can drive in my car....not for racing with each other......... Anyone knows any event like this in akl?

In a case that your vehicle breaks down on the road, they will pay for the repair cost to ensure it runs again or they will pay you the full value of your vehicle. At the end of the day, it is up to you to decide whether you will pay for labour+parts or a mechanical warranty, I would suggest you to give them a call first and get a quote. A warranty, at very least, helps you fix your car when it breaks down, and all you have to pay is the access fee. Access fee usually starts from $100 per claim. You should also look at how much they will pay per claim and what is not covered. Ex.some warranty covers lights,some don't.

I had a Japanese 96 bmw before, the first time I took it back to BMW dealer for service, I asked them what type of work they will be doing on my car and how much it would cost. I ended up paying 600 something.....which I initially thought was quite expensive. I kept driving that car for another 10k and I took it to another independent workshop(I am not gonna name the workshop here,not to frame an argument.), which told me they would charge me $2500 for this and that, I refused to pay of course.....then I cut the price down to about $1000. From my experience BMW's quality has no doubt ,is the best among all european brands. However you also have to understand it is a 2nd hand car, there is no point to follow every single point to make it a 100/100 car. BMW is a great car, my one worked perfectly and I cant complaint. But BMW does have a lot of little things that you need to pay attention at. I would suggest you to buy a mechanical warranty, at least it is better than none. And also find a reliable mechanic, not all independent work shop provide cheaper services.

I have heard different mates telling me different stories about these two workshops... Are they the same? How come some told me they were cheap and some told me they were expensive??

I am looking for some 19" black alloy mag wheels for my E65 bmw. Any good recommendation from you guys? Would custom mag wheels change the handling of the car at all?

Just wondering..... is it possible to connect IPOD to a BMW E65 7 series? I know the BMW dealer has a optional kit but it costs way too much..... Are there OEM cd/mp3 players that can be installed on this model?

I always search before I try and buy.....when I jump into a car for a test drive I can be easily fooled by the fancy talk from the dealer.... I believe people tell more truth on the forum....lol....

Thanks Allan.... I have tried a 525i.....a 330i and 318ti..... 525i is good but I just wondering whether the E-CLASS can be better than that.....I personally think E-Class looks a lot better though..

I have been looking at the E240 model...which the price is more reasonable.....E320 and E500 are awesome but the considering the price range......$50000+.....if i spend more than that I would go for a SUV..... I would not consider a imported E200.....1.8 engine for such a big car would be ridiculous..... Hey lucky you can try all the dream cars that every man wants.
