  1. Hey team. A close friend has left the country and couldn't sell her car before she left so she's left it with me. Here we go: 1997 BMW 318i in White. Manual transmission. 110000 km. New Panasonic MP3 CD Player ABS brakes Air conditioning Warlock Alarm/Immobiliser Alloy wheels Driver airbag Passenger airbag Power steering. Regularly serviced (every 6 months). Full work history. WOF and Registration expire March 2010. Minor scratches on right wing mirror and front right door. Circled in images. Might come out with a good cut and polish, I don't know. The fabric on the drivers door is beginning to come away also. Typical in E36's, I think. Looking for $5500. Really nice to drive. I'd buy it myself if I had the money =] Photos: Ok team. Offers gladly recieved. Any questions, let me know. Cheers, James.
  2. Hey team. Photos!! Will take some interior ones tomorrow. I'm looking for anything near $700-$1000 Regards. James.
  3. Hey all, Forgot to add I'm in Howick, Auckland. I don't mind driving some distance to make a sale though. James
  4. Hey all. Ok. The odometers been stuck at 116000 since may 2008 (link 318i, Automatic, in white. 2-door model. Just charging my camera now everyone. Good things: Mint Hoodlining and passenger seats Recent Respray New Head Unit Working Electronics Radiator replacement in June Front bodykit. Bad things: Head Gasket - Cracked, Broken, or Corroded. I've no idea. Drivers window regulator broken Dent on Drivers side, rear, Worn drivers seat Odometer stuck at 116000 Foglights gone. Dunno wtf happened there. Fuse, I think. Photos on their way everyone! I promise!
  5. Hey all. My baby cracked a head last week. Notwithstanding, she's almost mint. Had a full respray in January, no other major faults. One minor dent, and the drivers window regulator is gone, but she's gorgeous. So. Will anyone take it off my hands? I can't afford the repair, or the time to wreck it for parts. If no-one here is keen, it'll be on trademe within the week. Pictures will be up by tomorrow. I'll take what I get. James.
  6. Yep its a M10. Fired it up this morning, and all seemed ok. Still. Better check it into Botany Motor Worx.
  7. Hi team. I've got a suspicion that my choke may be stuck. I drive a 1987 318i E30. Today I noticed that, when idling, it seems to judder and shake, as if it were running on three cylinders. It sounds like its 'missing' and, is putting out a lot of exhaust. I checked the spark plugs, and sure enough they were sooty and black. The air filter is fine, so my thought is that perhaps the automatic choke has come on and stuck on? Anyone know any easy fixes? A friend has suggested I replace all spark plugs before contacting a mechanic, and I think I will. I think I'll book it in for a service and whatnot tomorrow, as I think it's had choke problems in the past. What's your opinion? Cheers team. James.
  8. Removed the outer barrel, sprayed it all with CRC, moved my key about and it popped open. Legend. Thanks for you help mate. James.
  9. Hey team. My boot is pretty much stuck shut. The key barrel you usually press to pop open the boot has become wedged in, and I've damned well tried my best to remove it with CRC and tender loving care. I thnik something on the inside of the boot has jammed the locking mechanism. It's a 1987 318i Coupe. Any workarounds? Cheers. James.
  10. Ok, thanks guys. Didn't even notice it.
  11. Hey guys, Just replaced my radiator and cap, and I'm not sure what level the fluid should be sitting at, can anyone tell me? Cheers, James
