Yep its a mission. And if you do find someone willing to part with, it wont be cheap (especially if they know the value). You could also look for replicas on TM by people who make them out of fibreglass. There is someone currently waiting for an order of MT2 full kits made of fb. They might sell parts seperately.
Fiberglass is plan B - Good feedback cheers

Sorted - Cheers

Hey guys - How difficult is it to find someone in NZ willing to part with genuine tech 2 skirts and pods?
Ive asked around and kept my eyes open for a while with no luck.
Would I be better to get a mate to ship something from the UK or just hold out and keep looking?
Thanks for the feedback

Electric fan for in front of E30 radiator - E34 Aux fan preferred

More details are probably needed. Does it fog up only when the heaters on, is it fogged up before you get in the car or only when your driving... etc
Rain leeks maybe - Have you lifted the carpets in check for moisture?

0:26 has a real bark to it - So awesome, well done

DIG IT! Watching this space...

WTB full carpet for E30 4 door. Want as tidy as I can get my hands on
-
Agreed with above - $2500 tops. 12 months ago I bought my tidy 325i low k's with all the trimmings for about what they're asking and I dont feel like I got a steal.
-
330, NZ new with a proven service history - Negotiate with confidence, some REALLY good deals to be had

photos 12 - 17 made me laugh

Im not to worried about the expense as long as there is return on investment. 158k, sure its a lot of money but it's all relative, if they come back with more knowledge, connections, enthusiasm etc etc then 158k would not be a huge amount to make back in future savings, efficiency and benefits for the county. NZ doesn't have the funds to be innovators so sending MP's over seas to seek the best ideas the world has to offer... seems ok to me
As for the partners going, the 5 star accommodation, the champaign treatment... I would rather encourage more to achieve that level of success then to strip it away from those that have worked hard to get it.
Lets hang em’ based on performance rather then there travel arrangements

Good choice - Like the keeping it original approach

No you don't need cats. Unless it was first registered after 2010 for some reason!
I agree - based on reading below. Will talk it through with him. Should be sweet.
2.5 Catalytic converters
Modified production low volume vehicles that are required to be fitted
with catalytic converters
2.5(1) A modified production low volume vehicle that has undergone an engine conversion, other than one to which 2.5(3) to 2.5(6) applies, is required to have its exhaust gases directed through one or more catalytic converters, if:
(a ) the vehicle was manufactured after 1 January 1990; and
(b ) the vehicle was first registered in New Zealand after 1 May 2010; and
(c ) the retroâ€fitted engine was originally manufactured in either:
(i) the United States of America on or after 1 January 1975; or
(ii) Europe or the United Kingdom on or after 1990; or
(iii) Japan on or after 1 January 1985; or
(iv) Australia on or after 1 January 1986.

Hey all - how do we "regular people" interpret the lvv Cert on vehicles that are required to be fitted with
catalytic converters?
I was originally told that I need a cat by the guy doing the cert but going back to him with a bit more info...
I'm thinking I dont need it, my ZA assembled e30's never had one, no part for it on RealOEM for my serial number.
How have the other kids in the play ground got on with this?

Sound right and anything I should be asking? Cars done about 160k
Thanks.

Little off topic but how common are m60 manual converted e30's in NZ - I've never seen one for sale, if I did I would probably would have bought it
