Had a locksmith out - he couldn't get in and hoped not to have to wait 10 days.

My friend has a 2000 740i and has locked his keys in the boot. I understand you can drill somewhere behind the number plate to get access to the boot. Anyone know more specifics of just where you drill and what you do after you have drilled a hole?
