Cheers all, got a few things in progress. Allegedly that body kit is a hartge variant, will be able to verify once I rip it off soon. Suspension will be under way soon, potentially a bit of stripping and a cage when I get to the track a bit more. Originally tan leather, but missing the original front seats, desperately need some new ones but very hard to find over here in Sydney. Have been thinking of getting some seat rails, buckets and removing the rear seats (goes nicely with the cage idea). However, preferable option would be to find some bmw sports seats and put those in instead.

Hey there all, thought I'd share finally. Introduced myself a while ago but have still pretty much been a lurker, finally providing some pictures of our new project we picked up a little while ago. There seems to be a lack of nice cars over here (triple S pulsars with chromes don't count) so Time to build something special for the roads of Sydney. Be back in NZ one day soon.

Wheels are AZEV-a's I think they suit the car perfectly. Will get some more pictures once it's been cleaned up a bit but for right now it's off to repco as the brakes need a little bit of loving today.

Hi there everyone, I think I've been signed up here for a while now lurking every once and again however I have made a new purchase recently and thought it was time to show up on these boards. This beauty of a car is going to suck a good chunk of my money dry and help me neglect my lovely girlfriend and hopefully I'll have many of you to thank for this with various input and ideas along the way. Trawling the boards here there is definitely some great knowledge and I look forward to contributing what information I find out along this wee journey that is the black E30. Allegedly the car had koni yellows , however I'm not too sure on this and think that might have translated to cut springs some how but hey a good excuse to get some new ones Will be looking for a coilover kit under the "best bang for buck" category any experiences suggestions will be great! Hi there Guys Ive had the pleasure of being shown around by some of the BMW guys in Chch and have covered a couple of events with them. The first even was the amazing NZTrackdays event where the bimmersport crew was strong: Ruapuna Track day And the second was the mid summer meet which had some fantastic BMW's *cough* CSL and some amazing driving: BMW sunday drive with the CSL A bit about the website (www.automotiveaxis.com): The site is still semi under construction but we pretty much only cover cars from the Axis (Germany, Japan and Italy) however of course there are going to be some exceptions! We plan to cover everything performance related from these car producing countries and will include exciting events like the Sydney Auto Show, race meets, cruises but most importantly amazing metal we find anywhere we can. Keep checking back for stories like the ones above and I hope you enjoy it so far! Andrew
