  1. Hi Glenn. Yes, i'm in Onehunga. I wasn't sure if Woolf were still going. Thanks for the tip!. Cheers, Matt.
  2. Hi all. My partner hates the sound of her '02, 4.4i X5. We recently replaced the cats as one was blocked and had the rear mufflers cleaned out as the debris had gone through them. To cut a long story short, it just sounds appalling. Does anyone know of direct replacement rear sport mufflers?. She'd like it to have more of a V8 burble. Cheers.
  3. Hi Scott Yep, that's me!. My partner used to be same but she's come around now!. Thanks for the tip re the manual conversion too.
  4. Hi people. I can't help but put my ten cents worth in. I own the white 635csi. While it's not in Concours condition, it wouldn't take very much to make it so. The previous owner (the fourth since new), did drive it almost daily and it has the patina of a car that has been well cared for, but used. He had mechanically maintained the car regardless of cost and the service books reflect that. I'll admit that i listed the car for sale too soon (the panic of impending fatherhood can do that to a guy!) and hadn't taken care of the minor cosmetic imperfections. Regardless, the amount of attention the car gets is remarkable. I get stopped at gas stations and small groups of people gather around it outside cafe's - and yesterday, even in my driveway!. The 635 is a stunning motorcar (which is why i have two) and my partner loves them just as much. I've decided to take the car off the market, attend to the bits and pieces and keep it. It might be a bit inconvienient getting a baby seat in and out on a sunny Sunday but it's a small sacrifice. I can't think of another 'classic' motorcar that covers as many bases. See you on the road. Ps, I'm looking at converting my other 635 into a road and track car. I guess the first step is a manual conversion, so if anybody can point me in the right direction that'd be really appreciated.
