Stock standard white e30 sedan on steelies and a bimmersport sticker about 2.30 this morning on Queen St
you sure it was a sedan because everything matches my car minus that and i was on queen street at that time this morning picking up the Mrs from work haha

Hey Guys,
Just hoped in my car about 2 hours ago to head off to late night shopping and while parked at home i started her up, and it ignited and went up to about 2k and sat there till i dropped it into reverse then back down to the normal 1k revs on standard idle
any reasons?
any problems?
just normal?
or is age + being cold a factor?
Cheers,
Drew

They're part of the m style system.... You can have either turbine or throwing star covers but you need the specific m5 wheels to attach them to. A guy on here has been hunting for a set in NZ for a good while now... at least 6 months to a year. Your best bet is finding a set internationally.
sounds like alot of effort for a daily driven auto E30, might just leave them cheers _Mark_

Buy Ari Gold's
Would love those exact wheels but a bit more then im wanting to spend on steelies..
Yea buy Ari Gold's.
Edit: Totally unmarked, as new, no tyres.
this made me laugh haha, you bimmersport folk are so much nicer then the NZHonda 'moderators'

You'll be in for a long hunt. Also you'll have to do a 5 stud conversion obviously.
just by looking on the web, are they a cover? like could be clicked onto something different??

E34 M5 turbines.

Quite sure a car like this would go past an E92 with ease with no more than a tweak or two.
that's good we were a bit worried haha
-
might need to dial up some more power to keep up with the E92 M3 we were creaming you in on saturday night

needs more golf trundler on the roof and tartan seats
thats the plan!
This thread is all about photos. My personal preference would have been white mirrors, factory or not.
P.S You need some rims, black steels look rude!
the plan is to eventually do the white mirrors, but just tidying her up before proper modification starts!
and yes the steels are rude but just waiting for some funds and the right wheels to come along!
Yup, agree.
Also, FYI three screws & a two minute job to remove the mirrors. Quicker than the time to mask
thats annoying haha to be honest didnt really look to hard just got stuck into the masking straight away
but thanks for the tips!

Hey guys,
another quick update! sorry about the picture heavy thread I just hate going onto a thread like this on any forum and there being next to no pictures!! also doing it for a personal record of my car and its progress!
Just did a touch up job today, factory black plastic wing mirrors were really faded so gave them a light sand then a coat of primer, another quick light sand and then the final coat of primer
managed to persuade Dad to let me spray in the garage
next up came the 2 coats of matte black to keep the factory look
Rather pleased with the final result!
and a sneaky picture of the beast chucked in too
Cheers,
Drew

Hey Guys, another update nothing big but hey!
Cleaned the car today and decided i would be creative and try to custom build my own automatic gear lever
so here she is:
nothing fancy, looks cool and goes with my underlying theme 'Country Club Stance'
I'll leave you to your imaginations on how its going to look!
Cheers!

placed a white bimmersport sticker on the back of my new e30

Hey Guys, if you've been lurking around Bimmersport lately
I've recently come back into the scene and have purchased myself a 1988 FL E30 320i Coupe.
Couldnt really turn down the deal to be the 2nd owner in NZ and having the previous owner own it from basically brand new, even though she's auto, things can and will be changed!
Here's a quick couple pictures of her when i picked it up!
And just a couple of mandatory modifications, to make it feel more like my own car:
Red Tail-Lights
and the ever famous compulsary Bimmersport sticker
Thanks for having a quick look, hope to update this regularly, so check back for updates!
Cheers,
Drew
