  1. Very tidy. Nice score.

Instrument bulbs, I bought some from Repco before, if my memory was right they are same shape as the park light except they are 3W as oppose to 5. Not sure if you took the instrument housing out before, i found that it is possible to remove it without taking off the steering wheel (just). Hope it helps.

While you change the bulb, the headlight switch has a bulb to illuminate the graphics as well, but just about every e36 I driven has blown bulb in it.

  2. I thought if you don't put it in neutral before turn off the engine, it will stays in gear and won't roll away. And that you need to move the lever to neutral in order to start the engine.

    That's what I do in a non-M3 SMG (e46 330Ci) that I had.

  3. I did say "mad looking".

Seen some similar one on the e60 and older Peugeot have that mechanism that make the blade reach out a bit while wiping. Just thought they are quite a cool way to rid of the little triangle.

Quick rant eh? I dislike that little triangular bit between the two wiper blades that can't get to. I bought longer blades so the triangle is smaller but couldn't get rid of it completely. Why can't they make those mad looking single blade mechanism on the 90's Merc?
