hi im new to this helpful site Ive got a e30 318 i got it with the trans buggered, it had the eh type 4hp22 so i seen a "regular" 4hp22 on trade me for $100 i was stoked so i got it. when i changed the gearbox i pulled the eh plug out from the left hand side and of course had no where to put the plug back into so i just left it hangin. my trans fluid hoses were differant so i hooked up an aftermarket trans oil cooler. the coolers all good. but i just cant seem to get the gears to change out of first, talked to the guy who i brought it off it worked in his bmw he took it out of. atf is topped up, i just noticed that my kick down cable on the throttle body doesnt retract. it actually stops the throttle from opening up about half the way and when theres no throttle the kick down cable is loose as if it helps the gearbox i brought was from a 320 e30 Can i use this gearbox in my 318 which use to have an eh trans, and what do i do with the eh plug(its just hangin out under the car lol) Any help is much appreciated guys thanks
