I have just received confirmation that the braces are arriving this afternoon!!!!

OKEY DOKEY!!! The braces are being delivered this arvo or tomorrow morning. Either way for those who are out of akl and will be needing them couriered I will give you all a pm to get payment underway. Those of you who are local in Akl the safest bet is to come tomorrow, or the rest of the week. I will of course post up confirmation of the delivery.

arggh I am losing my mind with shipping companies and customs. customs are doing one of their random *full on* spot checks tomorrow morning on the ultra racing so I am expecting arrival tomorrow arvo or wednesday morning. APT - Ideally I would like as many sales as possible to go through before the change of ownership (otherwise my hard work is unrewarded!) hehe

The boat has docked and the container is due to be unpacked tomorrow morning. I am being told we should receive the order at the shop tomorrow arvo or thursday morning.

Quinn - sory dude - just have what is listed. UPDATE The Ultra Racing shipment is now at the port and leaving on a vessel on Saturday. Eta in Auckland is the 15th, so i would expect to receive the order 2-3 days after this. Thanks again for all of your patience. I'll update if necessary, otherwise I'll next reply when the order arrives

I'll get final payment when they arrive and then I'll courier them out (where needed) when each persons final payment is received.

UPDATE: Hey guys, just a quick update. Ultra have all of the braces I want in stock. Which is a good thing. They have told me it'll take around 7 days to prepare/package the order. We are still on target i guess based on my original time frame. I'll update once they are shipped Regards Adam

OK guys and gals. DEPOSIT TIME I will go through and pm everyone the deposit amount required and the bank details and references they need to use. We are looking at roughly 5 weeks from this friday as far as an ETA goes (assuming production time is 2 weeks or less)..... Please stay tuned to this thread for updates

UPDATE: Have just been e-mail one of the Ultra dealers in the UK who obviously sells a lot of BMW stuff. Here is a quote from one of his replies. "Hi...they fit fine there is enough length on the studs - will get you some pics over soon when a car comes in to workshop...but dont worry about the E30 front or rear bars - as no issues" Hopefully that calms some nerves Just as an aside - we'll be at the Speed SHow this weekend - stand 127 - Have a bunch of stuff going cheap cheap for those that looking for generic parts

SP8S - hey mate.....I am guessing there is some slight variation in the engine plastic covers or something that affects the brace fitment......I have a couple of the timing belt E36 4cyl braces here that you can try if you would like. I was told there were mostly timing belt types here which is why i went with those. Courier would be $15 to Timaru. Could do $140 total for you.

Thanks for the heads up dude. They only have 1 front listing so might be the odd one that doesn't fit. I am of course more then willing to refund anyone whose brace doesn't fit as I am sure would be expected. This isn't a "order it and you are stuck with it regardless" type deal.

hmm I am a business, of course I am making a profit. That is how I pay my mortgage I am trying to organise a bit of a group buy.. You guys get a discount for quantity. If people aren't confirmed then how can I confirm I am able to offer the discount? Each person will want to know if the discount is on and unless each person is confirmed then I can't confirm I just had Nick come grab a E36 6cyl front strut brace. We mocked it up and it fits perfect. He is going to post up some photos. It is usually a 6 week process. 2 weeks collating order, 2 weeks manufacturing and 2 weeks on the boat. So we are looking at a end of October arrival.
