I think they were around 110-120 new, this one has 25-30k in quality upgrades and seeing they are in such limited numbers I would think it may just be worth asking price to someone.
Can see where you are coming from though, normally you would expect a 15-20k drop in price at 10,000km and one year of age. There are other 1M's for that money on TM, non have a spec sheet like this though!
1M owners in the UK are in some instances getting unsolicited offers for over what they paid.

Anyone used them? The back left rim ( basket weave ) seems to be on the piss so need to get it looked at.
Have booked it in for later today but thought I'd better double check.
-
Around that figure, maybe less if you can haggle him down a bit on price. Maybe more if there are issues at compliance but it looks in very good order.
Not sure about the line saying the Europameister is one of the more collectable E30 M3s, from what I have seen on prices it is not in the same category as Evo, Evo2 or Evo Sport versions.
Probably a bit above the value of a standard M3, but not by a huge amount.
Collectable only in terms of cars produced most likely. The EVOII is arguably the most collectable isn't it?
-
Surprising that Steve would get some details wrong about it though ... and where's the E36?!?
6MT like in the states? School boy error.

So what's that, just over $40k landed and WOF'd?

You may find they tyres were fitted by the dealer thats selling the car.
That's what I mean. Why as a dealer ( potentially the importing dealer, it was a USA car ) would you fit cheap tyres, your target market is going to notice, and probably impact negatively on the rest of the car.
Could the interior be a US spec?
-
Why on earth when trying to sell a car like this, aimed at a pretty specific part of the market, would you put Starfire tyres on the car? Firstly, What's Starfire? Secondly, what else on the car has been corner cut?
It's been on here a while, along with the "TWR" M3.

The main stream insurance companies are not intersted in you or your car just your money.
They want a low value on your car so they can write it off, they then auction it for more than they paid you because the parts guys can extract the value you know is in the wheels etc.
They use a "market value" derived from trade me which essentially means any reasonable car is undervalued because it is being compared to all the poverty pack beaten up jap import shitters being flogged off on trademe.
Short answer is if you can do it change to someone like Protecta, Star, John Baker etc.
I have an agreed value policy at 2.5 times what AMI valued my car and it costs me less (the agreed value is in line with a Jerry Claytons Valuation)
Bit of a generalisation. I've got the touring insured through NZI ( through a broker who has handled my families insurance + family business insurance to be fair ) for far more than what they originally thought it was worth, and more than it was bought for.
Also, before I insured through NZI, I got AMI to give me a quote, and they were incredibly good. Spoke to a young lady for about 30 minutes as she went backwards and forwards with someone else in the office about the car, in the end, they had agreed in principal to value the car at what I wanted, pending a valuation from the guy who ended up doing it. AMI was actually cheaper than NZI, but because of the other insurance policies we have with NZI, it works out cheaper overall ( just not on the car ).

If you know a car dealer get them to do an official valuation and include the wheels in the valuation?
This. I got a well known independent workshop ( who works on the car ) to do an insurance valuation on the car for me which included the wheels, but didn't specify a price, just mentioned their rarity/ condition etc.
That's your best bet. NZI were happy with that and didn't question anything, nor did they question the agreed value. In fact, they were very good about the whole thing.

Saw a frozen grey M3 (is the newest E92?) on Ponsonby Road today. Was driving so couldn't take a pic but can't be too many of those around.
Probably for good reason... Would be a prick to maintain.
And it's generally found outside either of the Stephen Marr hair salons in Auckland.

There's a place just down from K' RD/ Ponsonby RD towards Golf Warehouse on the left. Can't think of the name right now.

Not quite stock! It has had about 80K spent on it making it go a bit faster. The titanium exhaust alone was apparently 18K......
The previous owner utalized it to drive incredibly obnoxiously.

What are the wheels off? If they are aftermarket they may have the wrong bore size or require hubcentric locating rings?

I get a vibration through the car ( '88 325 ) between 95 - 105KMH. 4 brand new tyres, balanced and aligned. Had it in getting serviced last week and they thought it would be a balance issue, so had the tyres re-balanced/ rotated today.
Vibration is still there. Any ideas?

"BABYM3" on the Northern motorway yesterday.

This car is owned by the previous owner of my Touring.
It's in very, very nice condition. Shame he's selling it.
-
It was the slave.
Now the pedal feel is completely different, in a bad way.

Drove home and everything seemed fine. Got in the car in the morning and found the clutch pedal was dead, no resistance at all, it will return by itself when you release it.
Master cylinder? The fluid level is slightly below MIN.

Finally had some time over the weekend to investigate the problem. The drivers seat was leaning to the back right.
Took the seat out and found this had happend, how, is anyones guess as the span is pretty short.
(The picture is looking up from underneath the seat base to the right hand frame.)
Anyone know if I can just order the specific part? Or does the whole seat base frame need to be ordered? Can it be welded?
These are the seats.

Beautiful! Love a tidy stock spec example of the estate variety.
Also please to see the chrome grille surround intact as is from the factory.
Not going to touch the exterior, or interior for that matter. Will just work on the handling.
Flirted with the idea of yellow tinted lights, but won't go down that road I don't think.

Very nice, did this previously have a plate starting with FZJ?
Not sure.
Thanks guys.

Been a member for a while but finally something to post.

Wheelfixit Experiences?

Turns out it's not the wheels. Most likely drive shaft related.
But the guys at Wheelfixit were great and very helpful.
