  1. Hi Guys,

I have recently received my copy of the Auto Dossier magazine it is written in Spanish and it has 146 pages of information and photos all about the E30 M3s from road to race with interviews and features many competition cars.

This it Edition 1 and I would recommend it to all E30 M3 owners as a must have, price is $15 Euro and no English version Spanish only.

Hope this is the correct forum for this.

  2. Hi,

I am not a fan of the flared rear guards doesn't look right. No doubt it goes real good and is easy to drive but to me there is no similarity with the all concurring E30 M3 not in body style or engine department perhaps yes in engine/chassi performance.

  3. Hi Phil,

Temp should run at about 1/3 mark when th engine is at full temp, If it has a viscous fan on the water pump this may not be working properly or another problem could be the thermostat not opening fully.

I have a very good used thermostat which works correctly for sale if you requir one.

Check that the water return line from the L/H side of the cylinder head to the catch tank is not blocked.

  4. Can you please give me the name of your upholsterer in Wellington.

    Hi Guys,

I will be interested in the final result and some photos, on my M3 the sides of the cover are grey fabric and cushon area is hounds tooth with vynal on the sides.

Mine are in good orded but it is handy to know where to fine this fabric .

  5. looks to be in original condition which is a bonus, interior could do with a bit of work but you have to remember 20+ year old lether will show its age. colour looks good.

Good condition original M3s dont come on the market very often (lucky to be one per year)and it might be a case of buying this one and improving the condition & keeping it original.

Lhd is a bonus and will add value over time, US spec not as desirable but there is not alot of choice, as long as it is original in good order there will be no problem with resale.

I can remember the looking at two M3s back in 2003 and they were $18,000 each, just shows you what direction the price is going and when we are clear of the recession there will be another rush on classic cars.

    Dave
