Hi All my sister is having some trouble with rear windows in her E36, i have had a poke around and cant find anything out of the ordinarily. It blew the 30A fuse labeled rear windows and when i put new fuses in they just pop. fiddled with the switches and it doesn't seem to be them either. She did say before this happened when she put her rear windows down they didn't want to go back up but eventually they would?? So Confused any help would be awesome, Cheers, Max

it wont be 4 times the cost can get engine and box out of japan for around 1500 and then ive got a mate for mounts which will prob be just shifting the originals or leaning out an angle, and if you didnt know someone to do wiring it get real expensive

Im weighing up engines at the moment to go into my e30 it time to get a bit more power, has anyone experienced any of these conversions and could throw some handy advice, im really leaning towards the 1j as it is easy and cheap to get more power if needed, i know with the 1uz that there will have to be a bit of playing around with the brake booster?? i know im having to make new engine mounts/gearbox mounts for both but thats all piss easy and i have a guy thats a wiring guru so what do you guys think would be the best option?? Selling my bmw now cause i am irrational with my cars and cant keep one for over a couple months. she is a 1987 320 manual, 158,000 full tech 1 kit, electric sunroof, has had fresh paint by the last owner the car is completely immaculate has roof racks, is lowered on h&r springs and has borbet 15x8 wheels pretty much brand new with half tread tyres. Has a tonne of receipts of work done by old owner inc cambelt at 124,000km just gave it a full service, oil in gbox and diff done also. Wanting 5,500 Cheers, Max 021 150 4891

Have a e30 auto gearbox in mint cond only took out to replace with manual gear, comes with box, torque converter, auto flywheel, cooling lines, auto pedal, auto shifter. Would suit a repower. will also fit a 323 and 325 models $150

Just wanting to put in some better speakers in the back to replace my factory ones, what size is a good fit and also can anyone recommend any good speakers they are using? cheers

I am still wondering about this, the pic below shows the height of my car but now wanting to get it a tad lower, i have h&r rear springs and front touring cobra springs, i just want to get it lower and a tad stiffer can anyone recommend a set of springs and shocks that would do this? cheers

just wondering if anyone has had any good spring and shock combos to get the pre facelifts a bit lower? already have lowering springs in it and the exhaust and chasis are getting pretty close to the ground???

Well im new to this forum and new to bmws really of my history of dirty toyotas and silvias ect, had just sold my skyline and in a panic to find a car i found this, its an e30 sedan 1987 pretty much got it stock standard with the mtech bodykit and tech 1 spoiler pretty lucky cause the car has had a respray also and a sunroof!!! it was auto when i got it so the first thing was a manual so it was a couple mates and heaps of piss and frustration but its done now so wrapped about that also put in lowering springs and the set of 15x8 + 15 offset with 195/50/15's which look pretty choice! also got a bonnet rusting for the rat rod look, car is looking pretty staunch now but just wanting to get it a bit lower and start building up a m20 2.7 or go with a 1uz v8. and wanting to get a leather interior in it also Tell me what you think!!

Just wondering if anyone has the leather boot that goes from the gearnob to the plastic surround? for an e30. Cheers

yea i need to get some pictures up but the car is almost done and i didnt have a camera through the stages, pretty much was a stock e30 auto with the mtech bodykit and tech1 spoiler ive lowered it manualed it slammed it got wheels on it and now its time for the rusty bonnet cause the car is soooooo clean!

yup slammed on 15x8 with slat roofracks and just need the bonnet to finnish it off does anyone know the easiest way to strip paint off?

just wanting to put an oxidised bonnet on my e30 and wondering if the coupe ones fit the sedans? cheers

i have a pre facelift and just wanting to put the tyre away the wheels are 8 inch with a 15 offset so will have to go for a 195/50 i think

Getting to the final steps of my car now, looking at getting some wheels this weekend but ive put in h&r lowering springs but doesnt seem to be that low in the back does anyone know of any shorter stiffer stroke shocks to use. i know compressing the springs is always an option and find some shorter shocks but am i able to just put shorter shocks in with the lowering springs to make it lower? any other advice cause im getting some 15x8 with a 15 offset and would like to get them tucked under the gaurds.
