I have a 1998 e36 sedan which I got a manual conversion on - any tips on how to increase performance? its gone a bit slower from when it was automatic - I think because it still has a automatic diff?

Hey guys - Looking to buy a air intake system for my e36 - last time i only put on a pod filter on its own and ended up screwing up my air sensor. If anyone has one please let me know!
