  1. This for example must be good buying, just not quite what im looking for. http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/bmw/auction-923140314.htm
  2. Yea theres a couple of nice 330ci on trademe atm for that 6-7 mark from memory (only really looking in South Island) They look the tits but for work etc id be better off with a four door. And im wanting something decent thats really tidy that i will have for a good few years.
  3. Yea ok enough about the first car, thoughts on the Motorsport model that i posted further down the forum for $1res, im going to bid on it and wondering what you would perceive a 'fair' price. Keeping in mind that its in very tidy condition, current owner has had since about 50,000kms and all maintence etc has been done, doesnt burn or leak a drip of oil etc etc. Heres the link: http://www.trademe.c...px?id=921682513
  4. Christ i would hate to see whats been said in those 2700 posts haha.
  5. Yea i know the motorsport one you are speaking of, have been in contact with the owner and will be bidding on it. Out of curiosity what do you think it worth? http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=921682513 Thanks
  6. You are both obviously on the wrong forum if you dont think that car is worth over 5k smh. Tell me what BMWs you both currently drive and what you paid please.
  7. Yea its got pretty much full service history i think, and from what i can see the original buyer got every single extra possible inc reverse parking sensors, sport/bucket leather seats, sunroof, steering wheel controls, upgraded stereo, cruise control etc etc. I think this is reflected by the higher price. Every other one ive looked at has maybe one or two of the above mentioned extras but not all..
  8. Hi does anyone know anything about this car on trademe.. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=891661778 Thanks
  9. Yea i might end up going for a e46 but theres something about the e36 that i like, and yeah up to 10k for the right car but ideally less. Next on the list if no e36s come up will be a 330i E46 if anyones selling, leather etc but auto/manual wouldnt be worried so much, ive seen the ones on tm. And Aucklands a bit far sorry.
  10. Bit steep ay haha, theres also this one.... http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=909974138
  11. Thanks yea ive seen that and a couple others on trademe, was hoping someone on here might have something. I quite like this.. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=922692505 the owner said hes had an offer of 7k but i dont think its worth any more than that.. there is some e46 330ci for sale for less than that.
  12. Hey serious buyer, wanting a e36 sedan or coupe, 325 or 328 manual, leather interior, good condition, willing to pay a decent price for a decent car. South Island prefered.
  13. Yeah well after looking for a few weeks im thinking i might go for a e46, agree e36 better car , theres something about them, but at the end of the day the e46 would be a better car than most others out there, Theres a nz new 2 owner e46 328i down here with 150k and full service history asking 7k test drove it yesterday and its in mint cond.. bit grandpa looking maroon with std wheels but its do the job. Also anything i buy ill be putting a towbar on so that adds more $$$ would be a bonus to find one already with one.
  14. Add a plane ticket from Invers to chch and its knocking on $1000. Would be a good trip no doubt but cant see it happening!
  15. Still just adds to the cost though, plus time.
  16. Matt yourre right, that 328i is bloody tidy and if it was for sale in my location it would currently be sitting in my garage. Add $1000 on top of the price for freight and it dont seem so cheap especially thinking of resale in a couple of years when its got 220 + kms. The market talks and its for sale in the biggest market of NZ (Auckland) and it still hasnt sold so chances are for the money hes asking people can get better cars for the price.. or it would of sold already.
  17. All im saying is regardless of being import or nz new id rather buy a car with lower kms. As everyone else would.
  18. Who ever mentioned imports being part of this?
  19. Anyone want to sell a tidy 328i or 330i e46? South Island.
  20. kms are kms full stop. Its not just the engine that gets worn but everything, interior, suspension, gearbox... everything.
  21. Theres some on trademe in Invercargill for $150 odd, cheap for them theres bugger all around 2nd hand!
  22. Haha thats easy to say coming from the man with a m3 with 207k on the clock. I wouldnt touch it.
  23. Yeah seen that one, looks tidy for the kms just think the price is slightly high along with putting it on a truck to get it down my way. Made the guy a offer but havnt heard back.
  24. Theres a couple on trademe that look alright, just thought id try this forum to see if theres anything else out there before diving into something.
