  1. Okay. I just sat here for about 5 minutes watching My_E36's sig. Damn it's hypnotizing. Or maybe it's just the pain killers that i'm on.
  2. The answer in part lies in knowing some BMW history and what came first. Okay. Now this will clear this all up. Here's the basis off it all. In the beginning of time BMW started as motorbikes. Their main competition were BSA bikes. They both developed slang names. Beemers and Beesers. To avoid confusion, BMW cars were called Bimmers. Then somewhere along the way the yanks got lost and that's why they tend to call anything BMW related a Beemer or even a Beamer. So there you have it :thumb:
  3. It's also missing all chapters on transmission and drivetrain for some reason
  4. Sorry. This files turning out too big. It's taking forever to upload. I can send it throught msn messenger though. My address is rotorboy18@hotmail.com. Just add me and get me to send it. I've got jetstream so i'm not worried about wasting the bandwidth or time.

  8. I've just found this Haynes repair manual on my computer. Covers E30, E28 and E34 models. Don't know how hard it is to find. If you =want me to e-mail it to you just drop me a msg
  9. Sorry mate. Yo're stuck with the sag. Makes the interior look like a cheap toyota. I've never been able to fix mine and it gets worse if you take your dash off
  10. Good call guys. Stick to looking good. I think a'll just invest the money in a nice paint job and fixing the dents from when I rolled my guards with a baseball bat and flared them with pliers. And before any of you ask whether i have cut springs, no i don't. Did compress my old standards with a gas torch though
  11. Yeah i've got an m42. Are you sating that these may stand a chance against a tec? I've kept up with 1800 integras but that's a rolling start. Standing start i just get blown. My cars a manual and i read the tag on the diff and it's a 3.45 open.
  12. I intentionally bought 19's and knew that it would obviously affect acceleration and handling. It's not like I put them on and was disappointed with the out-come. I'm just looking for an alteration that will give me what i'm after. I want a BMW with 19's that isn't being blown by little tecs. Not a hard ask is it? Even for a 318. Wouldn't the 4.45 diff cause a massive change in pick-up and top speed? Apparently they make 1st gear totally unneccessary.
  13. Can someone clarify the compatability of diffs throught the 3 series. I have 318 manual with a 3.45 ratio. I'm after better acceleration. Putting 19's on has really made it slow to get off it's arse. Wot's the difference between e30 318 diffs and e36 318 diffs. Also what are the small and medium casings i keep hearing about?
  14. And yeah. You can get all the way down to 20 profile. Just sooo hard to find
  15. Cos they look fat as all hell. Nothin like cruisin round town in it. If I wanted performance. (gasps) I would have bought a Silvia.

    TradeMe Shizzle

Man. I want your zorst. P-m me if you don't sell it. I'll buy it in a few weeks
  17. I've got 19's on my e36. They fit like a glove. 235/35/19. And with a 40mm drop from some A/C Schnitzer springs. You know how to baseball bat your guards? I just rolled it round the tyre with a hot air gun warming the paint. I've also got 5mm spacers on the hub to prevent chassis rub on the inside edge.

    3.73 Diff

Hey. I'm a bit lost with some bimmer mechanics. Will this diff fit an e36 318is? It's a manual coupe with the 3.45 ratio diff. I'm after more pick-up
  19. I'm basically after a pair of fog lights for a 318is 1993. I can give you the inserts if i buy lights
