  1. Brent reckons the sedan ones are different, which makes things a little complicated. Is just shitty timing, finally got car back from a couple months in the shop and spent more than I really had. Otherwise would have just ordered new, might still have to but figured I would check around first as I would have to order local given time constraints and new are pricey
  2. Hey team, on the hunt again, just failed a wof on a leaking rear shock(passenger side if it makes a difference). I have just spent hundreds of cash on other repairs so can't afford to go buy a new pair this year. Anyone have a standard (non self-leveling) rear shock laying about I can buy? Kinda need to get on this fairly quickly as the touring is my only functional vehicle and I hate rolling no wof/reg, can't afford a ticket! I understand the wagons are different to the sedan ones. Oh, car is a 1994 525tds touring Anyway, let me know if you have anything...? Cheers
  3. Ok, I'm on the scrounge again... The number 4 injector in my "92 525tds Touring has developed a leak that can't be repaired so I need a "new" one. It is the number 4 injector which has the sensor/sender/wire on it. They are insane money new so am hoping somebody has one laying about somewhere so I can get moving again? Part number is I believe 13532243410 but it seems 1353 2244 402 also does the job anyway, looks something like this: They are apparently also found in land rovers... not that that's likely to help here haha Let me know if you have anything Cheers!
  4. Nah, wrong one was only 30 haha I can buy many wrong ones and still be up lol. my own stupid fault for not looking closely enough.
  5. yeah... bmw here want crazy money for it, I refuse to pay 300 odd bucks for a pipe with a valve in it haha It's only 70 odd bucks online which is quite a difference. Will do it if I have to but there isn't a massive rush, car is perfectly usable, would just be nice to have it all ship shape and figured it was worth asking around just in case
  6. I figured it was unlikely... Ahh, will try some of the LR guys, thanks for the idea
  7. Hey y'all, after waiting nearly 3 months for my new non broken vacuum hose/pipe/thing to arrive from Europe guess what... yup, wrong one, f**ks sake! Anywho, I am hoping, although I know it's a long shot that someone might have one here. it is a vaccum pipe thing that runs under the manifold, has 3 hoses coming off to the boost guage, brakes and egr (i think) Car is 1992 525tds so M51 (I think that's the engine code) diesel turbo, but either version of the M51 has the part I think. Part number: 34331162032 looks like this: or easier, it is the circled part in this diagram Also, if anyone needs an (I assume) petrol equivalent let me know!... this thing: As I said, long shot but would love to not wait months again to get my turbo firing and brakes back to 100%
  8. Cheers all, I have now sourced and fitted one Now to take it to a sparky to have the wiring installed. I would do it but would end up with sunroof opening and closing non-stop or just one headlight blinking in time to the central locking or some such
  9. Hey team, Just in case someone is after a cheap runabout. I am selling this thing for a mate, it had a few issues and he is now terrified of it so wants me to sell. Seems like all the major stuff, replacement auto box, fuel pump etc that they are inclined to do went on him while he had it and have now been sorted so should be sweet for a while now haha. Body is in reasonable nick, paint is average, interior is a bit blah but the actual seats, which are leather are in surprisingly good condition which makes a nice change as far as I can tell... they tend to be pretty worn out? Seems to drive well, no untoward noises etc Anyway, more information on the listing. Can do a touch under 2k for cash here http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=862573749
  10. As above, I have a '94 525tds touring, it is in desperate need of a towbar and all the towbar joints don't have a standard one so want moonbeams for a custom job. I'm hoping someone will have something suitable kicking around for small amounts of cash haha. I'm guessing any 5 series wagon version will work, e34 certainly, maybe e39 too but not 100% on that. Let me know what you have
  11. There's a couple there I'd take home with me if they would like to make some space
  12. This is the height she should be... unfortunately this is just due to a full load of firewood haha #workhorse
  13. Many thanks! Parts that I think I need ordered... hopefully I will be boosting around (and have brakes back to full function) in no time/4-6 weeks
  14. This makes me very sad! No one has them in stock and i am unkeen to pay $900 or more for a one off :/ haha no... well, probably not. No smoke at all. Current issue seems to be a vacuum pipe which the map sensor is connected to, and the map sensor. nobody seems to have either in stock and are all ex-germany... I want something now damnit, gimme my power! lol
