Hello, I am changing my ignition coil coz my n46 is no 140k and vibrating at cold start. When I removed the ignition coil, The original coils seems to have a grease on it? The replacement bosch/Goss of one of the ignition coil has no grease on it. Is that grease normal? Now , my new coils are delphi. The only step that i should do is, put some dieletric grease on the tip using cotton buds and insert right? I have a video posted for this. Please advice. Thanks

Ok, I tried to change oil my differential but the whistling gotten worst. So i decide to buy a second hand differential. What should I look for if it fits? My vin is nk69753. There are 2 differential in realoem.com. And as discussed, I should replace the oil to a heavy 80w 140 instead of 75w90. What car year of the differential is now durable. My car is 320i 2006. How to know if your E90 has limited slip or non limited slip Differential?
Toksis replied to Toksis's topic in Maintenance
Thank you. Is their a way to know if my differential is under filled it over filled? I measured the oil that I removed and it was 850. So I put 850 but it over flows. I waited till little fluid is going out. Then, I plugged it with 60nm torque. I really don,t know if that is correct or not? I did not jack my car, I just crawled under. -

So 80w140 instead? I'm planning to add xado for maintenance. Can you overfill it? Penrite says only .8 liter is needed. But forum says 1 liter. -
Just update on this. I bought the Top Ran Hans Pries air filter and guess what , my previous air filter is a repco one. Top Ran Air filter is like 30% bigger. Having hard time to insert the filter to the air flow sensor though. But it really helps fixing jerking during acceleration and releasing the pedal fast.

yeah. so i think it will do just fine? is this a ryco rebrand or sakura?

Hello guys, Any of you tried the Repco Air Filter? Is this good? Thanks. https://www.repco.co.nz/en/parts-service/filtration/air-filters/repco-air-filter-raf258/p/A1181644?kwSearch=air filter regards,

Hello, Anybody tried to use that thermostat from tridon? Is it good or much better? https://www.partzonline.co.nz/tridon-thermostat-105c-3bolt-tt572221-p-101621.html I am deciding if I gonna change my thermostat as well because my radiator is leaking on the metal clip and plastic side dripping.
