Definitely priced it to sell, considering the kms and condition.

Gives a good market price point for mine considering how similar they are 😂

I must underprice my cars as they always sell to the first person who views... My cars are always pretty mint and somewhat upgraded which makes them attractive too...I dont like them to hang around once I make my mind up to sell.

It's actually a funny coincidence... the blue 130i I purchased 'by accident' a while back was advertised as having a sagging "hood liner". I purchased sight unseen and then discovered the "hood liner" (bonnet liner) was fine but the "head liner" (a much more expensive problem) was the bit that was sagging... the seller (a motor vehicle dealer but a private sale) said "I've always referred to that as the 'hood liner'"... it goes without saying that I gave him a look that said 'you're a dishonest bastard aren't you!'.

Cost me 550. to have it professionally done....I like my cars to be pristine, and also different from the rest... My cars generally sell like hotcakes lol... That dealer sounds a little dodgy, as they often are..

Stunning, have admired your attention to detail @outlawtorn! That's the best 130i for sale right now, no question.

Got any sound clips of the exhaust?

Thanks..I dont have a sound clip of it... but if you google Laptorr E87 exhaust there are a few sound clips to be found...its deep, throaty, no drone, cars behind will hear it pop and crackle on decel and in between gears under throttle....

I think that's a good move and I hope it doesn't cause you grief!

One other question, you say new "hood" liner... is that a typo for "head" liner or an Americanised "bonnet" liner?

Thanks for pointing out my typo..Ive fixed it.... Its a new headliner...

Q&A should be visible and transparent, you can't do that via txt. If an honest question and an honest answer drag the price down then the price needed to be dragged down. If it's just noise you don't need to answer the question, or you can answer with a "." so people can see silly questions. Serious buyers won't be dissuaded by idiot questions.

But hey, the market will decide, GLWS.

Thanks...I have taken your feedback and amended my ad...questions will be answered... Hopefully no one with an intent to derail will lurk...

I seem to recall this one, is it owned by a BS member?

Regardless, stating that you're not going to answer questions in the Q&A isn't cool, hopefully it will limit the market enough for the seller to change their position. If I didnt have so many cars Id love to keep it..just a lack of storage and to nice to leave outside all winter now the garage is full.

Yes, its my car... and I wrote that as too many times, my auctions have been derailed or had its value impacted by inane questions from people that have no interest in buying....I may change my mind  but its easy enough to text me lol...

Why does that gear stick look so chode like?

Its the angle...Genuine BMW short throw lever with a weighted gunmetal Storm 'knob' It really is a 'pleasure' to hold.

    http://www.storm-motorwerks.com/interior/bmw/shift_knobs_v1/

Weighing in at just over 500g, the stainless steel shift knob really does feel substantial. The "notchy" nature of the BMW gearboxes is significantly smoothed out with this weight through providing a greater pivot force, giving you an effortless and precise gear change every time. Prototyping revealed that with the shift knob too light - the notchiness would still be there, too heavy and gearchange would become laboured and sloppy. With the weight optimised, we have met both criteria - smooth and swift.

I was wondering that, any idea who to go through with regards to importing one myself from Japan, there's such limited options in NZ, are there any companies/dealerships people have used here to import a bmw, and/or would you advise against it for a 130i manual?

I used  Vehicle Import Specialists in Rangiora to source my 130i about 6 months ago  - Tom on 03-310 6539

Lovely, looks a bit lower than stock suspension too... interested in the width and offset of the wheels and details on that rear spoiler. New to you?

From what I researched they're  18x8J +45 f and 18x9J +50 r.  Run around us$2400 a set (rims only). For this size rim the retailer is recommending 225/40 f and 255/30r which is what I am running.  They weigh just under 8kg.

Hi...The wheels were on  it when I bought it in from Japan...I did wonder if it had different suspension considering the previous owner went to the bother of upgrading the wheels and exhaust with decent upgrades, ie not the cheapest or most common. Im not sure on the wheel offsets. but I will see what I can track down. Rear spoiler was on it too, I assumed it was a optional stock fitment? Ive owned it for maybe 6 months and apart from replacing the starter motor its been faultless (touch wood).
