  1. Not my favourite TBH. It’s the most common colour on E30 M3 convertibles
  2. Yep, I’m brining 3 cars and a motorcycle. So long as I don’t sell them for 2 years, no GST or duty is payable. I’ve owned them all for at least 4 years.
  3. What to look out for... the first 10 points have to be rust. Parts prices are silly. Though now the value of a good E30s is going up there's more places stocking bits and even places starting to make some of the NLA bits from BMW. Enjoy... it'll probably bankrupt you but at least you'll enjoy the process. BTW... they never made an E30 coupe... only 2 door and 4 door sedans, tourings (station wagon) and convertibles
  4. I'm emigrating / coming home to NZ next year with my E30 M3 Convertible. I've had it 14 years now and can't wait to explore the country in it. I'd been keen on any advice and recommendations for compliance places near Auckland. While it is 99% rust free (they've never 100% clear) I have had a few spots repaired over the years. They've all been repaired well but you can tell it has been repaired and in reading the compliance manual I think those spots will probably get marked for further investigation and possibly require certification. Is there any benefit to have it classified as either an 'immigrant's' vehicle or a 'special interest' vehicle?
